I am still at 250 which only marks a -30 loss so I am officially the slowest loser here. But I keep bothering these Shrinking Violets everyday! OK...freaking out. I just checked our testing window schedule and we START testing on the 28th of April. THERE IS NO WAY I CAN TAKE A DAY OR TWO OFF BEFORE TESTING. :confused: Could I beg my violets to have our get together in May...like the May 10th weekend. I AM GONNA CRY IF I CAN'T GO. Please...if I bring everyone a purple surprise...PRETTY PLEASE. ooooo man, that would suck if I can't go. But we are a Program Improvement school (see why I hate Bush) and there is no way I can be absent before state testing. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...lets do it May 10th!

OH yeah, about our get away. My vote is no spouses. And although I am from California...I am a total Southern woman at heart. I can sit and talk and drink (and smoke in the old days) for hours. I even have a southern drawl which may show up talking to ya'll (see, there it is). My family is from North and South Carolina. I remember my gma and parents drinking, smoking and talking for hours. I also love antiquing (sp) and mellow hikes...really looking forward to it. I also vote for late April (perhaps a little warmer) and after state testing. xoxoxoxox

Bula Vinaca Violets~ (Fijian) Susanne and I went to Fiji a couple Christmas' ago. It was the 2nd year after mom died, and I just didn't want to do Xmas. Did you know they have Xmas in Fiji??? He is a tall black skinny Santa...but the bastard passed out gifts. To us even. Well I was in bed at 8 last night. I am a bit less tired. I just have some heavy stuff going on in my head right now, a decision that needs to be made. For dinner, I had popcorn and chips (how much protien is in that). I swear, I just wanna play hookey today. But it is conference time (freakin yeah). I get to look parents in the eye and gently deliver the news that their children are not the wonderful angel they think they are. A friend of mine had a parent tell her yesterday, and I quote..."you give them this bullshit busy work..." To which I would have replied, "and you got your teaching credential from which university?????" But, we can't say that...we just have to smile and act professional. AAAAHHHHHH:faint:. You know last year (and the 10 years before that) I was not this bitter. Well, gotta go look fab for the day. You all have a great day. Terry~ Your bead weekends sound great. Hey Becky, I take an anti-inflamatory every day. It is prescription but it really helps. It is called Arthrotec and it is bariatric friendly. Actually, it is prescribed by my LB surgeon! I know it is not a quick fix, but perhaps you can get the meds to have on hand.

Hey Violets~ Laura~ I had a 'fat' day today too. Just yesterday, I was having a total skinny day...oh well. I also did not go to dance class tonight. I just got home from spending 220 @ Wally World...that is why I don't go there. I bought my neices Halloween costumes today. One is 8 and one is 6 and they both want to be Vampires. They wanted to have different costumes. You know Wally World this time of year...shit was everywhere. Costumes, wigs, capes, makeup...the girls are ready to go. My SIL already bought my nephew's costume...he is going to be Spiderman! I am gonna try to post some pix of his first day of school after this post. I am tired and have the blues. It will shake in a day or two. Gonna eat popcorn for dinner and try to relax. I've been working on Walden stuff for weeks and am bushed now. Where has Terry been? Good Morning Violet Family~ (No, I will not close this post w/ MOVE THAT BUS) Well, the state is on fire. I hate fire...too unpredictable. So many families are in shelters now. Please think of them and send out some prayers for these people and the fire fighters. I honestly don't know how many fires there are now...spots all over southern Cal. Well, another day here. I swear, I need a day off. Sometimes, because Susanne and I usually squeeze in lots on weekends, I need a day just to myself. But we have parent/teacher conferences the rest of the week so the kids are "acting up" because of minimum day. I know it is hard to tell when they are being good or bad. Yesterday, I was walking around during math, trying to teach these people about ordering fractions...when one little shit said, "Yes, I'll have a double cheeseburger hold the lettus"...ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This little "angel" does not know his times tables, but is talking to me like I am a waitress. I swear...sometimes...(don't write it Pamela...you are on the internet...keep it to your self...grumble grumble grumble). Well, off to take orders! Have a great day! xoxoxoxoxoxo

Just my 2 cents. Your not ready for the band. The band is only 1/3 of the weight loss journey, and clearly you are not ready to do the 2/3 needed for success. You don't want to lose weight for your health. Save your money...buy another bar/business. Don't waste your money, time or your friends or family time w/ a serious surgery.
