Hey Family~ I know I've been invisible lately...swamped w/ work and I started teaching my online class this week...man o man...supposed to be a part time job, I am working 5-6 hours a day. I am getting a vulgar amount of money, and I know once I get the hang of it, it will get easier. But wowser:faint::faint:. Welcome Lisa~ Jump in and post often. I hope this band journey is successful for you. I've been freakin naughty this week. Did you all know candy makes you fat? I did. Put on a pound and have been too busy to go to my dance class. Laura~ No she shouldn't let her politics get in the way of the content of the class. But, sometimes it does. Is there a discussion rubric that students follow? If so, review it and post that in your email. Ask her to point out exactly where you did not meet the criteria or question what criteria she is following in order to grade you so low on it. Worst case scenario, you take the 65 for the week, and then write something "kick ass" next week. Just my 2cents...good luck!

Forgive me in advance...I am freakin tired! I am just amazed at the costumes I saw tonight. When did Halloween become "I am a 12 year old slut night"???? I mean you wouldn't believe the shit these little hoochies were wearing. My mom wouldn't have let me out of the house 5 years ago in some of them. One little girl, very undeveloped body (as if that matters) walked by me wearing a slutty nurse costume. Ready for this one...it said "HEAD NURSE" on the outfit. Are you freakin kidding me??? How many hours did a mom have to work to pay for that shit? One kid went as maxi pad...yes, you heard right, a maxi pad...thank God it was unused. I told him he better not wear that tomorrow. The dancing was horrible. All these kids grinding their "privates" against each others. I swear, teaching middle school is the BEST BIRTH CONTROL EVER! I was pretty good on my eating today. Great on food, but had a couple pieces of candy. Then on the drive home (I took 3 boys from the neighborhood that are in my class to the festival) I took the boys to McDonalds. Remember, I have not driven through there since March. The menu looks totally different. Anyway, I caved and got a choc. shake. But hey...I walked ALL night, and frankly I am sooo pooped, I don't give a shit! Hi everyone. Terry~ Please call me before you hire anyone. Top of the Morning to ya Violets~ (Irish) The hair do is a color blend and it is nearly a reddish or purplish color. I had weaved my hair since I was 16 and there is still lots of bleach since my hair is longish. Anywho, he said research is starting to show that 72 hours allows it to sit better. Plus, last time, I washed my hair the next day, and it looked like "murder" had occured in my shower...the red just washed out. I was pissed. Lastly, since I paid 200 for the new "do", I better do what he said;). Congrats Jenn on the $$$$. You deserve it! I hope it becomes a weekly event! Tonight I will be at work until 8:30:faint:. We have our Harvest Festival. It is a little carnival when all the kids and their families come and eat junk food, play these little games, get candy, we have a haunted house, etc. It is fun, but lots of work. Hey Violets~ Laura~ it is pretty silly here!!! At the first rain, the news will report, "STORM WATCH 2007!" And people will gather around the TV to confirm what they already know...it is raining. What is bad is when it rains for the first few times, the roads become very slick because of built up oil. Then everyone drives like assholes, and there are tons of accidents. Weird though, it was 90 degrees here, beautiful, and no rain. Denise and I are far apart. But we are in the same state. What would you say Denise, about 8 hours in the car? I don't know. Terry~ sleep well sista. We love you and are here for you! Ok, jeans. The only kind I wear are ones that fit. Last year, I found some cute ones at Avenue. They are straight leg which I like. I have longish legs. I don't like wide leg, I don't think they look good on me...make me short and wide all over. I also like some womens Lee. I probably wont buy new jean this winter. I only wear them in winter anyway, and at my slow loss...I've got enough pair already. Anyway, you looked great Jenn! OK...13 hours ago I left the house, and I am just sitting down. Had a great salad for dinner 230 cal. and was well behaved all day. I had my hair done today. It is a very pretty reddish, with blonde highlights in the front. I love love love it. All dreams and the people in them are actually extensions of peices of you. A 23 year old male dreaming about sex...normal. A 23 year old male undergoing weight loss, dreaming about "not fitting in" or "not having the right form" speaks to the fact that your body is changing. I read somewhere here that men's penis' seem bigger when they lose weight. Lastly, a dream about a hot woman w/ 3 penis'...speaks to your idea of your studliness (sorry for using such an awkward word). All people in our dreams are really just peices of who we are. Sweet dreams!

One thing to note about individuals successes is if they are exercising. I know that a "walk around the block" is a great start, but it is not the exercise I need to lose weight. I need to sweat, and sweat a lot. If I am not eating carbs and exercising, I might have lots of success...or if I am eating them and not exercising, I might have a different result. I am a slow loser, but I am exercising and eating 1/3 of what I used to eat. I, like Laura, can usually get 3 meals out of what I used to wolf down. That is what I call restriction.

Hey Terry~ So sorry to hear about your mom. I have lots of experience w/ private duty nurses that work in the home if you ever wanna chat about it. We hired private duty nurses for gpa after he fell and broke his hip while he was alone. I know what your facing, trust me. I hope your mom feels better soon, it sucks being in the hospital. So sorry to hear about your CEO. When I was 20 (way too young) I was going to marry a wonderful young man. He was killed in a car accident, he was 24. I was devastated. But what was worse, his mother had lost her only child. It was so sad. Hang tough honey. Come here and vent or share! We are thinking about you! xoxoxoxoxox

I agree Michelle. I am having my protien shake now (280 cal) and will be a good girl for today and the week. I just forgive myself too easily, lol. Which for an Italian Catholic, that is pretty good. Do any of you watch "Workout" on Bravo. It is with professional trainer Jackie Warner. Anyway, she says if your good all week, have one treat on Sunday. That way, you know on Wed. if you pass "it" up you can have something on Sunday! You use it as a reward. But, like TracyK said, to some it is a slippery slope. A junk a holic might not be able to govern themselves in such a fashion. Either way, life is short..."Let them eat cake..." xoxox

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't begin to share how much I missed you all. Thank God I had the email list saved on Word. I was freakin out w/o you all! TracyK~ I too had a blizzard yesterday (choc Heath). I am allowed to have one a month. I had my MIL here this weekend, and she cooked schnitzle (no breading) and I had that, a very small bit of spatzla (german noodles). I had to cut the meat in 1/2 it was too big. Then I didn't have enough of the low carb ice cream so we went to DQ. Not the best choice, but hey, I am done w/ my DQ fix for the month. Don't feel bad, today is a new day! I have tons of work to do today, so will be sitting at the puter all day:ranger:. I'll be back in a bit. I had a dream about Kat again. It was mixed in w/ 2 conference calls I have today! Weird, huh. I don't remember the details but when I woke up, I thought what was I just talking to Kat about? LOL, that is 2 dreams about Kat! Laura and Michelle~ Wow wow wow...you both look great! Laura, your totally smokin in your costume, (close your eyes Judy) someones getting laid! I am going to be a Conehead, lol...no sex for me. Congrats to both of you. Susanne and I had a day date since I was out of school at 11:30. We went to lunch and a movie. Saw, "We Own the Night"...pretty good. Lunch was a freakin disaster. I ordered the ragoons and chic and greenbeans (Panda Express). WHEN WILL I FREAKIN LEARN???? It was the first food of the day. I drink my shake and then the first bites are rough. I sat there, then started to rush over to the bathroom. I barely had the door open and thank goodness the stale door was open. I projectile PB'd from the front door right into the toilet! Perfect shot. The PB is quick and painless (during and after the "stuckness") then I felt great. I had spent 20bucks on lunch and was still hungry and we were trying to hurry for the movie. So I SLOWLY picked at the chic. I felt great after I ate some protien. Anyway...it was pretty funny! Judy~ When is your trip again? Have fun if I miss you before you go. I am pooped. Hey peeps, Susanne surprised me today. I was translating a conference for my friend (in Spanish) and I happen to look up as she walked by. She was in full uniform so she was hard to miss. (So cute in her uniform). Anyway...what a nice surprise. Funny thing is the cleaning lady didn't come this morning (comes every Thursday) but will be here tomorrow. But the house is a mess. There are dishes in the sink, and I didn't make the bed. Susanne is a neat freak, and the house usually doesn't look like this when she is here (or when I know she is coming over). So I was busted! I think I even had cabinets open too, which I do alot and she hates. LOL...I guess the surprise was on her. She stayed at work w/ me tonight and helped me cut some bottles for our bottle biology project. It was fun and great to see her in my classroom. As far as work, I am "out". My principal is gay and work w/ other gay people too. Everyone at work really loves Susanne. My kids don't know anything about my personal life.
