Terry~ I read your post then saw the pic and couldn't find the fat old lady you were talking about. You must have made a mistake:cry You looked smokin hot!!! That is totally my kind of outfit...you looked beautiful! The fun and flirty attitude was glowing!!!! Hope your party was fun! Enjoy this special time with your mom. Last nights party was fun. She was selling Scentsy candles Scentsy: The Hottest New Thing in Candles I bought some cool stuff! Then we had a great lasagne dinner (she made me my special w/o noodles). I was a little naughty...she made garlic bread and had 2 smaller ones, from the ends of the loaf. They were perfect for a bandster...hard, crunchy...yummy! So I had the 2 little pieces of bread and my sauce. I did have a cookie (2) because she went to all the trouble to make homemade oatmeal, choc, and peanut butter cookies. Oh yeah...tons of wine. I wasn't driving. We played the game Catch Phrase...had a blast. Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard...I am sure I've burned off some of the calories;) Got to hustle today! My former students will be here at 7:30 to move the couches before the new one arrives. Have a great day..BBL! xoxoxoxoxoxoxox -

Gina~ You look great! I love the German Shepard too...they are my favorite dogs (well, I like my Rottie too). All my life we've had German Shepards: Bretta Braun from Boocovina (registered...georgous); Burgermister; and Hilda! They were all great dogs. This is my first dog staying outside 24/7. He has an enclosed back porch, a bed, blankets, and a pillow. His name is Klaus...he is 140 pounds and is just too big. He takes care of me...he is my baby! Off to a party. The hostess made lasagne and made me a special w/o noodles! I am sure I'll abuse the chips and homemade kick ass salsa! Have a great night everyone! xoxoxoxoxoxox Susanne is feeling better, but is pissed she is not here this weekend. I feel so bad, but she is glad she'll come home next weekend and our new sectional and the track lighting in our closet will be done! Thanks so much for all your well wishes! You guys rock! I've been meaning to say this for a while. I appreciate how open everyone has been w/ my lifestyle. I am very open w/ everyone...but I know that many people might not approve/accept. I know there are many conservative Christian violet sisters...yet, you've all accepted me for me! That means a lot to me. I've said it before...I LOVE YOU GUYS! xoxoxox:girl_hug: -

TracyK~ So Glad you like it!! In all fairness...I loved picking it out and buying it. I think on the little card the website is there. They have some cute other stuff too! Wear it in good health! Laura~ I love Mex...and love taco/fajita salads. I actually had one this week, and I scraped off 1/2 the meat etc and saved it in the fridge. Then I added it to shredded lettus the next day too! I add salsa or pico de gallo as the dressing and it is very lo cal...and soooo fresh and good! I never eat the shell...too much grease for me!! So glad you all liked the cards. It was fun adding everyone to the lists! I hope this is a tradition that lasts as long as our friendships! xoxoxoxo -

Morning Violetas~ How are my favorite skinny biotches;)?? Denise~ Love love love the jammies! I can't wait for my SS to get my gift!!! Had a horrible thought this morning...what if she already has one??? That would suck! Everyone~ Thanks for your well wishes for Susanne. I told her I'd cancel all the stuff going on here and go to see her. We are having a massive rain storm in so. cal...and she doesn't want me to drive in that (I really am not the greatest driver in the rain). Also, I think she is glad that the "work" will be done when she comes next week. Cindy, I am interested in learning about how you treated it w/ hubby. She was told to just watch salt...gotta love military health coverage (shit). I can't PM you (I wanted to also tell you my last name...my family was HUGE in SC and I am sure you will know the name.) Anyway, try to check User CP on the top of LBT to see if you can click on it to set it up. Or we can use email. Well...TracyK, I agree, TGIF. I am soooo tired by Friday of getting up at 5 and getting out of the shower by 5:15. :faint: It is raining hard here. I am supposed to go to a party 30 miles away...and it will be pouring rain. W/ wind up to 60 mph. This should be interesting! I'll pop in from work. The kids are taking a test today (love Fridays) so I get to clean my desk and catch up! xoxoxoxoxoxoxox Everyone~ Watch, tape, DVR the movie on ABC Sunday night "One More Day"! Get your tissue and enjoy! -

Tracy...you look adorable in that getup! Especially cause it is purple! Kat...screw patience...a shot of tequilla will calm the nerves;) Ok ladies...Susanne was in the hospital this morning again. She suffers from Mieners disease. She will become very dizzy, off balance, etc. So now...I have the couches coming on Sat. and the guy is coming to install our track lighting in our closet (the most expensive freakin closet ever) and my honey is sick at home 113 miles away. I am such a goober when I drive especially in the rain so she doesn't want me on the roads. But I feel soooo bad! I think I'll send her some flowers. Anyway, my heart is sad, and actually I am too freaking busy to get to her. :faint: -

It's amazing the difference between where we all are. I am wearing capris and a cardigan...it is 75 today, just beautiful. It is supposed to rain this weekend, so all of southern CA is bracing itself for STORMWATCH 2007!!!:omg::omg::omg: I don't miss the snow to live it, but I do know how special and pretty is can be...until you have me on the roads in it...that is a freakin nightmare! Suzie...enjoy, that sounds like a lovely afternoon! -

So much to say...so little time! Michelle and Haydee~ I am joining the race too. I will lose the race but I wanna play. I am 251 this am, so we are all near each other. Ok...On our marks...get set...go! I neve had a set point Terry...I never really dieted. I tried WW, Atkins, Jenny, but never really stuck w/ it and never really tried. I always felt beautiful, although I was over weight. I always felt sexy...and yes, always got laid (in my youth)...so losing weight was not a biggie for me. My goal is 180ish or so, and would be pleased as punch w/ that. TracyK~Glad to hear sis is ok. I guess this is not the flight attendant. BTW, how did she do on final test? TracyKS~ Enjoy your girlz weekend! I am hoping the SS gift arrives today or tomorrow! I love this stuff. Haydee~ I would wait until the beginning of Feb for a garage sale. I have lots of reasons why, plus that is when we are having ours (or Mar). 1. I always have it after the 1st or 15th because people have money. 2. People are so strapped w/ money this month and need/want to buy new stuff not old as gifts. 3. Put an add in the paper before you do (like $28 bucks...soooo worth it). Last year, we had one, and made $800 dollars (bought our new garage door!). We had people knocking at 5am on the door...but hey, we wanted to make money, and we did. These are only my suggestions. GOOD LUCK whenever it happens! OK...gotta run! Have a great day! xoxoxoxoxox Terry~ That was very funny...already sent it off to people. -

Tracy~ I'll keep that in mind. The next time I feel the urge to splurge! I am home for work and already dressed in workout clothes! No excuses, right! Laura~I can never go back to smoking. As much as I want to...I can't...not even one. The last time I had one...it was 2 wewks later. It all started w/ tequilla too...well, 6 shots and a margi! Anyway, for years every night, I'd fall asleep thinking, "I need to quit smoking...I need to lose weight" I hated it...made me feel like shit. Now, I just fall off at night thinking, "what am I gonna wear tomorrow, etc". I know I am working towards weight loss. I guess w/ smoking, I just got tired of my own bullshit. BUT I WANTED ONE YESTERDAY BADLY. Today, I don't at all. Have a great night everyone. I need to go and try to set up an ebay account. I want to buy Garth Brooks tix and have no way to do so, since 5 shows sold out in 30 min. Wish me luck! xoxoxox -

Morning V's~ Suzie...you've got something behind you that you may not know...Purple Power! It is magical! You've got sisters pulling for you from all over the country! Keep us posted honey. I want a Margi too Tracy. I love me some tequilla. Last night, I had an eye opening experience. I was grading papers and came across a tough one (took me an hour to grade, just too many mistakes). The munchie monster came out. I wasn't even hungry...but I had to eat. I really wanted a ciggy (that is such a deep "jones") and since I didn't smoke...I ate! I think that is a huge factor for me. I quit smoking in late June! The fact that I haven't packed on weight is amazing. I can't believe how bad I wanted a ciggy. Then I thought, "have a glass of wine" ... no...then I thought eat this AND (not or) that...yes!:faint:. It is harder than it looks. Perhaps it is the holidays but I've been wanting one. Terry...how are you doing w/o smoking? Anyone else quit since being banded? The two meetings went well Kat...the first one w/ the parent was 10 min (left early) and the one w/ the principal was 1 hour. Yesterday, I went to Wally World and Gottschalks (department store) and hooked my brother up w/ some goodies. His girlfriend moved out and left him 1 pan, mis matched glasses, 1 towel, etc. So I spent tons of money but had a great time. I bought bath stuff (towels, mats), dishes, pots/pans, glasses, plates, 2 sets of sheets and a beautiful comforter (it was $220...and I got it for $99...I love a deal), trash can, etc. It was a blast! He was shocked and loved everything! I said Merry Christmas and now he is off the list! Anyway...what a great feeling...I think they call that retail therapy! Have a great day everyone! I am supposed to have study group tonight, but will go to dance class if my study buddy cancels! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo -

Kat, yes Susanne made it home this morning at 4:45am. I can't remember if I posted that she left here at 2:30am...talk about beating the traffic! I will be so glad when she is not on the California freeways all the time! Thanks for asking honey. That is why you are great...you remember all the little stuff w/ all of us. I am never good w/ personals, I try, but I usually forget what I read. I do pay attention to everything though. Anyway, you are wonderful! On a side note, I've eaten all the crap so I can behave tomorrow! No wonder I am Fatty Mc FatFat! -
I feel your pain girl! I teach public middle school AND teachers getting their Master's Degree. If your feeling like this so early in your career, perhaps it is not for you. Teaching is a calling...it is either in your heart or not. If the students are making you this crazy then you might want to look into other jobs. I know my middle school kids make me wanna freakin scream sometimes (and sometimes I do). But honestly, I love 'em...and couldn't imagine doing anything else. For my Master's classes, I find my students go above and beyond constantly (sometimes too much). They work their butts off...and question when I issue an A- for a grade. But on the whole, I feel very blessed for the opportunity to grow with them. I know what you mean...they can make me crazy too. It is a tough call. But if your feeling this pissed...I am sure your talents and knowledge can better serve another industry! Good luck and keep us posted!

Hey Violets~ Michelle...A little bird's (Judy) voice popped into my head as I was reading your post...Patience and Trust! Hang tough honey...this too shall pass. I am just trying to behave and get through the holidays. I am stuck between 250 and 252 (although I did have one day at 249). I know it will happen. Hey, If I (the slowest loser of the Violets) can still be posititve...anyone can! Suzie~ Good luck today with everything. The stress test and your new job!!! Forgive me, maybe I missed the post, last I left off you were offered 2 jobs the same day...which one did you pick? Where do you swim? It is a bit chilly for a swim, isn't it? (Or is that the little fat girl making excuses). Have a great Monday! I have 2 meetings at 2pm..that should be interesting. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo -

Hiya peeps~ Laura...love love love the color! I am a big fan of color in my home! I have a 2 CFM red walls(candy apple) in my living room. Den is warm honey and my den is lite blue. Bedroom is lavendar! Anyway, love the pix, color and the tree! And Miss Tracy~ WOWSER...(said w/ love) you are one hot skinny biotch! You really look great honey and we are all so proud of you! Suzie~ 25 years that is amazing! We should all be so lucky. I am jealous of ya'll getting your tress up. We are waiting until the 15thish, so it lasts until after the New Year...at least till NY's day. Janie~ That movie sounds cute. Everyone is talking about it. There are so many movies out now, I love it. I got lucky and Susanne stayed here today. She'll leave @ 5am (in full uniform) and drive home then to work. I am so glad though...I love spending "lazy day" w/ her. Made spaghetti (w/ cappellini). So the whole house smells good like garlic. Have a great night everyone! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox -

Bula Venaca Violets (Fijian)~ Jennifer~ 2008 is gonna be your year honey! I think your a kind and giving person and 08 will rock for you. Remember...we just gotta get through the holidays, then 08 we are all back to our spring selves!!! I know the holidays are tough for so many reasons..focus on your many blessings...we all should! TracyKS~ your post is the real Christmas! Have a wonderful season. And the fudge...omg...I remember mom and grandma making fudge. I always was involved w/ the "testing" stage of the fudge production. Congrats on your NSV! Terry~ Your gift sounds wonderful! There is a very lucky violet who will look stunning in your gift! I have my gift for my SS. I am so excited and hope she likes it! I will get it into the mail this week! I am so excited for the holidays this year! Last night we went to the Festival of Lights parade w/ some friends of ours. Then we came home here and had 2 bottles of wine and played electronic Monopoly! We had a blast and stayed up til 1am! That never happens. But the holiday season is so fun and filled w/ family and friends...and wine!!! I should clarify something. We are planning a trip to Europe this summer, but we have not settled on anything yet. I am pretty sure we are going, but I've left the majority of the planning up to Susanne because she is from Germany and knows how best to travel. Since I planned our last vaca...this one is up to her. I am kinda in trouble too. She is retiring on May 16! But I think she will be in Phoenix w/ her mom...so I am in the clear for our trip! But the look on her face when I told her broke my heart. Then she remembered she will be gone. I am just praying she doesn't have her retirement ceremony that weekend. That won't even be a decision...I will be w/ her (keep your fingers crossed that the ceremony is in April). Ok...sorry for the long post! Enjoy your Sunday! xoxoxoxoxoxooxoxox -

Hey Juli~ Awesome news! What are you gonna do w/ all that time off? I suggest read a book or two. That is what I hate, being in school, is that I never can read books for pleasure. I might start one, but then I need to hit the "real" books. Enjoy your time off! And...hello, 98 pounds gone. That is fanfuckingtastic! I am so proud of you. Have a great day everyone and enjoy your weekend! xxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox -

Buenos Dias Violetas~ Terry~ I got a kick out of that map. That whole area is what we call Houston??? WOWser. Too bad ya'll aren't closer to each other. We are in talks about Hawaii, the more work we do this year, the better it is looking. 2 years ago, after mom died, I wanted to get as far away from xmas as possible. We went to Fiji! It was wonderful! But they have xmas in Fiji...just w/ skinny black santas! What a great trip! Our big trip we are talking about (started planning) is Germany/Italy/Switzerland this summer. We are hoping to go before Susanne finds a new job! I loved the holiday outfit too! Beautiful! This year I am skipping the holiday party to go to a semi high school reunion at this castle our friends owns. Here is the link California Castle if anyone wants to see it. Curt is our friend from school and he bought this amazing property. He rents it out on weekends, etc. Come complete w/ costumes etc. Anyway, I am going there on the 15th. It will be great to see everyone! Susanne is off getting a massage I bought for her. 75 min...should be nice (at that price it better be). Terry that is a possibility for hubby. Especially after a long golf game. Or you guys can buy each other some furniture like we did :girl_hug:. It rained here all day yesterday. By the 5 pm news, we had more rain yesterday than all of 2007 combined. I loved falling to sleep listenting to the rain. So today is SPECTACULAR...everything is crisp. But gonna be 60 as our high (for us...that is soooo cold). But it should be 82 on Wed...aaahhh! Kat~ I know about taxes. Dec. 10 and April 10:faint:. I pay 2 times a year. I figure why not collect interest on my money in my bank. Hate that it comes in Dec. though. Have a great day Violets! I wanna try to get these cards done while she is gone! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo -

I found this in another thread and thought I'd share w/ my violets! Enjoy...xoxoxo Don't toot in Bed If this story doesn't make you cry for laughing so hard, let me know And I'll pray for you. This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for years. The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of tooting Loudly every morning when he awoke. The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water And make her gasp for air. Every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping them off because It was making her sick. He told her he couldn't stop it and that it was Perfectly natural. She told him to see a doctor; she was concerned that One day he would blow his guts out. The years went by and he continued to blast them out! Then one Thanksgiving morning as she was preparing the turkey for Dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep, she looked at the bowl where She had put the! Turkey innards and neck, gizzard, liver and all the Spare parts and a malicious thought came to her. She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep And, gently pulling back the bed covers, she pulled back the elastic Waistband of his underpants and emptied the bowl of turkey guts into His shorts Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting Which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic Footsteps as he ran into the bathroom. The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor Laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good. About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his Bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face. She bit her Lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, 'Honey, you were right.' 'All these years you have warned me And I didn't listen to you.' 'What do you mean?' asked his wife. 'Well, you always told me that one day I would end up tooting my guts Out, and today it finally happened. But by the grace of God, some Vaseline, and two fingers, I think I got Most of them back in.' -

Morning Ladies~ Jenn, I love that dress! You look good for wearing your pj's under. Terry~ It is so good to see you posting again. I don't like it when one of the violets goes missing. It offsets the natural balance in the world! So glad to hear your mom is doing better! I know that plays a huge part in your stress level. Believe me...I know. TracyK~ Enjoy your shopping today! How far apart are you and Terry? Too bad you can't go together! Well, I need to get my sinus' xray'd today, since they were closed yesterday. Then Susanne and I will be puttering around...light shopping, etc. We just had a discussion/argument about xmas presents. She thinks we need to have small gifts, since we give all year. I like a big tree w/ tons of gifts under the tree. Either way...we've decided to go to Hawaii next year for xmas! Have a great Friday! Pamela -
