It was cool the lighting was great and she was beautiful. It put a spring in my step and was just what I needed. I suggest everyone get lucky under the treee this year. Hey Violets~ Terry...we need an update! Busy day yesterday and today too...hell, all this week. I am just wondering if it would KILL the scale to move just a bit. yesterday and today 250.0...and just wanna see 24something and have that be the norm.:faint: I've been good. Is everyone settling in to life together? Well today was a great day. My friend, who get got a job and was unemployed for about a month, was in a scrooge state of mind. She mentioned she couldn't afford a tree. So, Susanne and I brought her one! She was shocked! It made us feel really good to help out a friend and give her a reason to Celebrate Xmas. I've known some lean Christmases. Not easy...but sometimes a little gesture from a friend can make the entire season. Then we went to the Nike outlet and I spent too much $ on myself. We came home and I made 8 doz Cookies (only had 2 ate very end). Prepared about 20 plates w/ snow flake wrap and a little card for my secretaries, principals, a few colleagues and people at Susanne's work. Then I prepared all these little red felt bucket thingys for our people at work. Each felt pail has for the ladies: xmas socks, earrings or pin, small box of chocolates; for the men it was gourmet coffee, small game thingy and chocolates. Susanne stayed again and will leave at 3:30am. I hate that she has to drive so early, but we had sooo much fun today I am so glad she was here. Making the cookies and putting together the buckets...ooo yeah, and the fact that I got "lucky" under the xmas tree!!! I know TMI...but it has been years since the "under the tree nookie". If my child would've said that to another child, I would have made her say sorry andpunished her w/ something. I love what Santa did. When I taught 1st grade, I would hold up my cell and tell the kids, you better be good or I will call Santa right now. I even "faked" a few calls...it really freaked them out. Then of course, I'd call Santa back and tell him they were being good now and that all is ok;). TracyK~ Deep Breaths honey. That is all I can say. When I was in Reno, I never drove in the snow...toooo scared. Then one morning, I was driving a friend back to the bar (hey, I was in my 20's) where we had to leave her car and take a cab because it was snowing so bad...and I totalled my car going 15 mph. Good Luck! I quit then cheated on and off for a few months. Then late June, I got tired of my own bullshit...and quit for good. One piece of advice: never tell yourself, I am gonna have just one. There is no such thing as one ciggy. I smoked 25 years, and am so glad I quit. I can do great workouts now, cardio is easier each day. Good luck...stay strong! You deserve to quit! Judy~ The fudge sounds so good. I remember mom and grandma would make fudge every year. I never did pay attention but I wish I would have. Hey Violets~ So much to type. Where to begin? Kat~ Your personal Violet letter was so special. Thank you for taking the time and putting into words what so many of us feel. You always have a way to "rally the troops" and are exceptionally eloquent. Thank you for you and for all you do for the violets. Everyone~I got a batch of wonderful cards yesterday. Michelle, you look beautiful and sveltt (sp) and have a lovely family. Loved the purple card Laura...was that on purpose? Everyone, it was so nice to increase my Xmas card list and recieve so many warm wishes from all over the country. Did Lunasa get away from us? If so...we will miss you sista...come back when you can. Everyone's cards are up with all the other friends and family ones...they all mean so much! Well, lets see. Susanne got home yesterday about 10am and we were out the door to breakfast and shopping shortly after that. We are nearly done...I have some to pick up for nieces and nephew (my fault I should've asked SIL sooner). We got our tree last night! Was so nice to wake up and smell how the house smelled w/ a live tree in the living room. We decorated it this am and set up the village. Spent the am doing this and that about the house...then showered and out the door by 1pm. I did something very cool today. My cleaning lady lives 6 houses down from me and she just had her first baby! She called today and asked if I wanted to see him (we have some trouble communicating...I think she asked me that). Anyway...short story long, I got to hold a 3 day old baby! He is so cute! Had soooo much hair and was trying to focus on me and my red shirt. Anyway, that was really cool...just what I need...someone else to shop for! We went to see I AM LEGEND today. WOW...what an intense movie. It was really good, but I don't know if it is for everyone. I really liked it. Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I had a glass of wine and about 10 nachos, lol. Posting now...then part deux

Hey Peeps! Merry Christmas...I know I am early but am so enjoying the holiday season! Took today off and honey will be here in a few hours. Yeah! Welcome to the new peeps. I have no clue what a Daddy is, but I get the Bear thing. Hey I live in Palm Springs...but what is the difference from Bear to Daddy? Is it part of the BDSM world? Help an uneducated lesbian out Anthony! Dezbus, that is crazy. I know the year my mom died I was doing the same kinda thing. I was trying to avoid the holiday though. My dad and step mom come in next Friday and Susanne's parents arrive Saturday...then both sets of parents will meet for the first time at breakfast on Sunday the 23rd! I don't think I could eat it...really a "stuck" factor for me. Yesterday I had 2 xmas cookies for breakfast...2 more for lunch (literally, that was it) then 1/2 c. cottage cheese before working out, then 1/2 c. refried beans and 1 pc. of cheese for dinner. Weird for me...I wasn't very hungry all day. Hope this lasts a while. OK...I am so excited to post this. On Tues and Thurs I teach for 1 hour after school. I it is a combination of my intensive group (VERY low) and the ELD 1 group (literally NO English). I have 4 non English Spanish speakers (no prob...I speak enough Spanish), but I also have 4 beautiful children from Iraq! I love it. They are 2 sets of sibs (bro and sis) and then the sets are cousins. One set, Claudia and Alex moved to Turkey when the war started. So they speak Turkish, Arabic and are learning English (and actually learning Spanish because EVERYONE else in their class, ELD 1 speaks ONLY Spanish). The other set Frank and Mirna stayed in Baghdad and only moved to Turkey the last year. What this means is that when they were in Baghdad, they were not in school. Frank and Mirna are Catholic (I am also, and had no idea there were arabic speaking Catholics) and Frank (georgous young man) told me he also speaks Aramic (???) which is what Iraqi Catholics speak. I just loved my afternoon. My mom went to high school in Turkey because grandpa was a diplomat. The kids loved that...I think they think my family is from there. Anyway...I love this challenge and even though I am off today, I have been thinking about these kids and what the hell I am gonna do w/ 'em. OK...Susanne will be here around 11ish!!! LMAO...High five to Juli and Laura! My MOJO has never been in question...but yes, sex is fanfuckingtastic since the band. My only complaint is that (and this has gone on since the first time I had sex AFTER the band)...after the first few O's...I feel pain around the port in the muscles. So...after a few good ones, I feel it tighten there. When I first started it was worse. But the attitude is so great. I feel sexier because of exercise...and I am aggressive too! Watch out!

She will go Tue and Thurs and I have another friend who goes on Mon and Wed (starting in Jan. there will not be a Wed night class). So that is my 3 week days covered...harder to make excuses. The only bad thing is that my Tues Thurs friend (Jackie) likes to go to Dairy Queen after working out, lol. I think that is the evil leading the evil...or 2 fat kids in a candy store:D. I was so good yesterday w/ food. I was starving after working out last night, and had 1/2 cup of fat free refried beans and 1 piece of cheddar (190 cal) and felt soooo satisfied. I would've loved one of Kat's tacos. I love tacos, but unless there is a man or men here...I don't even wanna cook 'em. They are a lot of prep work for Susanne to eat 2 and me to eat 1. I'll make 'em from time to time for friends, my brother etc. Got a long day today. Work, quick shopping @ Gottshalks (big sale today), exterminator @ 4pm, and cable company from 4:30-6:30 window. I am getting wireless internet. I live near an airport, and am just worried that the connection won't be clear. Between you all and my online teaching I've become extremely dependent on the internet. Hey Violets~ I broke my coffee pot last night as I was preparing to make coffee for the morning. So, this am...it was instant coffee (yuckyuckyuck). So I am a bit off today. I went to post this morning and had typed up this lovely eloquent thought provoking statement (just kidding) and had typed it all into a "new thread" text box. So, I deleted that one. LOL...did I mention I hate instant coffee? I had lots of personals this morning too, can't remember anything. I know I need to check my PO Box today cause I think Judy and the Bobster are in there! I swear, after PB'ing the entire Thanksgiving weekend, in front of the in laws, I would rather have normal restriction than too much. I was PB'ing on tuna salad...not like I was eating bread. I love salads too! I've had no problem but just started using the shredded last week. I like how that chews down easily. My nono's are: deli meat, deviled eggs, bread, Pasta (unless it is cut up small), haven't even tried rice, some chicken.

Last week we bought all they had, like 55 boxes. All our shoes are in clear plastic shoe boxes on the shelf...looks pretty cool. Now, the worlds most expensive closet is nearly (boxes) done! Have a great day! I didn't eat/couldn't eat all day yesterday. The guy worked all day and I felt bad...he wasn't eating so I didn't. He ran to Lowes and I tried to eat a chix strip...and had the worst PB ever. I think it was more like a down right vomit session. I couldn't even keep tea down. That was like 1pm (breakfast) then I had a protien shake for dinner, and a small bit of crackers. That was it. Hopefully today I can enjoy my turkey sauce I am making! Have a great day! xoxoxooxoxox
