Hey V's~ Beautiful Sunday here! Gonna do some work around the house then Susanne and I are going to go for a drive. There is this area about 30 min. away. Our friends Jackie and Melissa bought their house over there. Well, to get to their house, you get off the freeway and turn left. I WANNA TURN RIGHT! On the right side, there is this beautiful country-side. I think their is a public apple orchard there too. We are going to go on an adventure! LOL...just as I am typing this, she in on her puter and says, "OOOO I wanna go see The Orphanage" movie!" So actually, who knows what we will do. I'll report later! Denise~love the pix! I am all about Graceland, but I can do the $27 tour (I think I saw 3 options). I, like Terry, am a Beatles girl. I wanna go to Graceland to 1) say I've been there 2) take a few pix and 3) sing along to all the songs w/ Kat (I'll start practicing now). But at the same time, I don't need to see the graves, etc. Hell...do you all know, that I've had sex in Elvis' swimming pool at his Honeymoon Hideout in Palm Springs (aaahhhh youth). So I am kinda "over" the Elvis mania...just wanna pop over to have the experience! Anyone wanna go to NY...give Jenn some Valuim and drag her booty on the plane?

LOL..you got it Terry! I went to school in Reno...besides a tiny bit of $$ here and there...don't like pissing my $$ away. I am sure we can find enough trouble to get into w/o gambling! Wanna go to Graceland? Perhaps find a bead store? I know Judy is in too! Anyone else? LOL...I've already looked online too for tix. About 5-600 bucks which is doable. I'll probably fly in Thursday at 4:45 and arrive midnight (which will only feel about 9pm), then take a cab to Tunica (or shuttle). I want to have 3 full days there. At least it is only about 5 hour flight...not too bad. Need a carry-on and hit the friendly skies!

Hey V's~ We had an amazing day today. Went to brunch w/ our friends, Jackie and Melissa (couple) and then to the Palm Springs Film Festival! Saw a movie called Out at the Wedding. It was sooo funny...probably the funniest thing I've seen in years. The entire cast sat right behind us (I mean the row exactly behind us). Afterwards, the director and producers w/ the cast went down front and answered questions. It was sooo cool. Although I've lived here since 1980 (except during undergraduate school), this was my first festival film. It was so beautiful today! AAAHHHHH! Felt good!

I think we are all in. Gotta just figure out a way to get Jenn down there. As long as the goal is not gambling...I am in!

I just spent the past 1/2 hour clicking away on the $250 deals & it seems that Judy is right... if you want higher than a 3-star hotel or a "resort", then the price is going to be higher... I know price is an issue for some folks & not for others, so just wanted to make that clear... I want something higher than 3 stars! We deserve higher than 3 stars! Buenos Dias! Well, I really must say I am thrilled this am! I am 249.6 today! I was good all week, except Wed (still wasn't TOOOO bad). I've logged all food cal., worked out 3 times this week...and all told, I've lost 3.2 lbs this week since Monday morning. Thank you sooo much for helping yesterday. I swear, if I didn't have you all, I would've blown it yesterday! Although I am a slow loser (LMAO...I wrote slow learner at first...Fruedian slip) it is frustrating to be the only one who is still "way up here". I've only lost 31 pounds since the band! OH well. TGIF...woohoo! Going to happy hour @ 2pm. I have a conference call @ 6pm so I will drink only Water (I have tons of crystal lite to go's in purse). It will be nice to just relax. Susanne works tonight from 4pm-7:30am (they have a once a month rotation that everyone pulls this duty...the Army never sleeps). Anyway, then she will hit the road and should be here by 10am. So I am going to dance class in the am and we are going to the Palm Springs Film Festival tomorrow @1pm! Should be fun! I'll pop in later! xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxox
