Hey Kids~ Had a blast last night! Went w/ Laura and Flynn and met up w/ Bob...OMG, we all went to school together since 8th grade! They went to elem. school together, but I moved in 8th grade to the desert. We rocked out, laughed...played air guitar! The AC/DC cover band ROCKED OUT...they were an all girl band! I was going to go check out a new church called the Unitarian Universalist Church (think that is right). But now, I am not sure. I have tons to do...but wouldn't mind going either. OK...off for a bit. xooxxo

Good morning girls~ OK, so Thursday I did the Housewives of New York, and last night watched two episodes of Housewives of New Jersey! LOL...I am hooked! We saw ...The Greek yesterday, SOOO FUNNY. Wondering what Michelle thought of it? I think I am going to an AC/DC cover band at the Rock Yard. Looking forward to it. Going w/ a gal who was one of my BFF's in 8th grade, lol! Hey Girls~ WHAT?? MJ DIED?? No, in all serious-ness, it is a sad day. Remember I live w/ a European, and she cried for months (and actually just the other day) about his passing. (I mean when she watches something on TV, not walking around and brusting into tears.) Michelle, I want to see Get Him to the Greek today too! That is cool, almost like we are watching a movie together. I for one am glad you will be joining the FB ranks again...we miss you over there too! Judy, I also can't wait to see pix of the Garden! Janie, I was just telling someone the other day about Judy having to PAY FOR A SEAT too! That is the funniest yet. Haydee, So, you are a married lady for over a month now...how you like it? Anything different? Laura, yeah for Carson's tubes. I've heard good things about this and it should stop all his pain. Susie, sorry to hear about Gia. I watched Real Housewives ALLLLL DAYYYY...omg, glad it is over. I liked it, really enjoyed it. OMG, I've watched this show all day...I am SOOOOO BLESSED for my wonderful friends who don't treat themselves like this. I could NEVER maintain a friendship like this where you are constantly putting each other down.

Morning girls~ Happy Happy Birthday Baby!!! Happy anniversary delo! We had a nice afternoon yesterday. Went to PF Changs and then came over here to swim and relax. It was nice! Susanne is gone and my "intentions" of sleeping in lasted until 5:22am! I see a nap in my future! We bought a new bed for the guest suite and it will be delivered here between 11-2pm! So after that, I can nap. I started Julia's Chocolates...I LOVE IT! OMG, I am still early in it, and they are having the Breast Night...lmao! I think all the girls will like this one. Judy suggested it a few weeks ago! OK...off to deal w/ Walden for a bit! BBL YEAH ON THE BOOKINGS GIRLS!

Hey Girls~ Susanne is heading to Phoenix to see her mom. I've got to set up my Walden classroom this am, student will be "in" tomorrow! Then at 1pm, I am going to a luncheon for what I thought was my friend's bday...but it is for my bday too! How cool! We are going to PF Changs! Then whoever wants too can come over and go swimming...that is why I want the Walden work done first! Have a great day! So excited Laura is booked! Disneyland, here we come!

Morning girls~ Haydee, it is soooo great now because when you say "I went to mamas house" I know exactly how awesome that is...and can picture that pool, yard, house, etc!!! Please tell you parents hi from the Violets (speaking on our behalf for the entire group). We can skip the spa, or who ever wants to do it can...and the other girls can hang out, shop, eat, etc. It is like $110 for the "experience", so I'll leave it up to the person to decide. I can go either way. I can find a masusse (sp) to come to the house and do us individually while we hang by the pool, and it will be a lot cheaper. Something to think about! Judy, OMG, I love the pix on fb! Old pix always look weird, but I know "in the day" you were completely in vogue! Michelle, thanks for the baking advice yesterday! You rock. I love having a professional baker on speed dial! xo Have the vuvuzelas taken over? I can't stand that sound. My dissertation chair, Bonnie, is in S. Africa now for vacay, and she said the vuvuzelas sound like a LARGE swarm of bees! Janie, the brownies were delish...I'll make 'em when ya'll come out...sans the nuts! Laura, have you started telling C that he is gonna be a big brother? Wonder what he will think..."yeah, I got someone to hang with" or "WHO THE HELL IS THIS AND WHEN ARE THEY GOING AWAY?" Got some running around to do today, allergy shots, need cards, and I am hoping Susanne and I go to the movies. I THINK she is going to Phoenix tomorrow so I am hoping we can have a date day! Mae, no I will be working for Walden all summer. Since we have no big trips planned, might as well make a little $. Just have a couple of weeks each term that make me crazy! The brownies did help Michelle...and helped and helped!:Banane20::eek::thumbup:

The Real L Word is not for the faint at heart. It is a reality show, but it is in your face and raw a bit...nothing too hollywood about it, which is why I like it! Hard language, a small bit of nudity, and it is real. They do the one on one interviews like any other reality show...but I thought it was well done. It is something juicy to bite into during the weird TV shows during the summer...but then again, I am a Big Brother fan, so what do I know!:thumbup::biggrin: The other two, Scoundrels and The Gates were just good. Something new and different...I really liked them both! back to the freakin' grind...this is the bad week where I have to set up my new classroom by Thursday. This term ends Sunday, and the new one starts MONDAY:eek::Banane20::eek:!

Morning Violets~ Bob and Judy~ here's to 41 more years together! Mazel Tov! We had a nice weekend, and it looks like Monday is more of the same! Grade papers, laundry, etc! We'll get in the pool later...I really wanna go see a movie! Watched three great shows last night. 1) The Real L Word (I really think only Laura will like it of the V's) 2) Scoundrels, which I think everyone will like it and it is filmed in Palm Springs (well they "live" in Palm Springs) and 3) The Gates, which was pretty interesting show. The Real L Word is on Showtime, and the other two are on ABC. There is always nothing good on TV so I am glad they are putting some stuff on to keep us occupied...especially until Michelle's birthday, July 8th, when BIG BROTHER COMES BACK!!! Hi Girls~ Had an amazing day w/ the damfamily! I made the KICK ASS DINNER OF THE YEAR! We swam, bbq'd, and sat on the patio from 2:30pm to 9pm! It was great! Went to breaky this am, now I need to grade papers, but the pool is CALLING MY NAME...gonna go answer the call! xoox

We can do the spa for sure...I just can't pay for it this time! We must do DL on Friday, and can do the spa on Sat!...it will feel great to get a massage after hoofing it around DL all day! Then home to swim, relax, eat, repeat! CAN'T WAIT!

Morning girls~ I feel bad, at 6:30 Susanne was washing the windows, and I got out of bed at 7, made coffee and hoped on puter! Oh well...she knew how I was when we got together. I did tell her I'd help clean today, thinking dusting and vacuuming, not washing windows. Many times, I'll do something and she'll do it AGAIN. That makes me crazy! I am making filet mignon, corn on the cob, rosemary potatoes, and green salad today for my step mom, step sis and BIL. I got these great little pieces of meat wrapped in bacon...hope they come out ok. VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE CALI TRIP! I'll check back in a bit... have a great day!

Hey girls~ We are up and soon to be attem off to the commissary and PX. My family (stepmom, step sister and her boyfriend of many years) are coming in tomorrow night. They will be here for one night only. Going to pic up some filets, baby red potatos, etc. The people in LA are assholes. Your team won...why you be looting? F*&kin' morons! Had a great night w/ Rob and Charles. With his health scare he was no worse for the wear. They think it may be a broken rib as he has a great deal of pain on his side. But what a great night! Hey girls~ I took a 3 hour nap today!!! OMG! I had to take a OTC zyrtec for my allergy shots this morning, and it made me feel drunk and tired all morning...hated it. So, now to shower and head over to Rob & Charles'. Michelle, enjoy every single poolside minute!

Good morning girls~ Well, last night just as we were ready to leave for Rob and Charles', we got a call from Rob saying they were on their way to the ER...Charles was having chest pains and didn't feel well. We got word later that he is fine, his BP was 212/110 and they gave him some nitroglicern (sp) and it fixed the BP. Rob said the whole time he was laying there w/ all the wires attached to him, he was worried that we were mad and that the food was going to go bad! LOL, we are going over tonight for dinner and to check on him. There is another couple as well who will be joining us. So, we were dressed up and looked really cute last night. It was 6:15 and we were hungry...so we went out to a fancy dinner. We didn't know it was fancy until we got there, we had 1 drink each and the bill was $63! Soooo, w/ a $12 tip, it was a $75 night!!!:devil_smile::eek: Before we bought this house, we'd do that quite a bit, but haven't done that in a while. But OMG THE FOOD WAS DELISH. I had the salmon, over garlic mashed pots, w/ carmelized fennel!!! She had the pork tenderloin and it was fantastic! So, yes, we'll go again...but will do it after a pay day, and not in the middle of the month! Today, we need to go to Target, and Home Depot. I also need to start allergy shots...the 'new doc' doesn't let us give our shots to ourselves...sooo, we have to go in once/twice a week! What a PITA, but hopefully it will work! Everyone thanks for reading my essay...sorry to go on and on! xoxoxoxo Oh yeah, went to WW on our way out to dinner and I lost .2!!! LOL...

Morning Girls~ Judy, did you ever get the check we sent for the car? We sent it in a bday card for Bob?? Laura, one time I waited for about 40 min in the lobby then was taken back for a gyn apt. It was the Wed before Turkey Day. I sat in there 45 min W/O PANTS ON!! They came in as I was getting dressed and the doctor too. I laid into them sideways. "How dare you presume that your time is more valuable than mine!!!!:mad::mad:" OOOOO man, I was smoking hot! They were apologizing all over themselves as I stormed out! 45 min w/o pants is a bit too much! I left that practice too. I am too freakin busy to wait. My primary doctor is great. I'll wait 1.5 hours for him, but get 30 min of undivided attention, and he is comprehensive. I've left a few appointments because they were over a 30 min wait. I'd rather rebook than wait for ever. Then when I come back, they usually get me in. Today, I've got to finish grading papers, I've got about 14 to go...uuuugggg! Then I can read and relax for a bit before the next load comes in! We are going to Rob and Charles' for dinner! Looking forward to it! xooxoxxo
