Good Morning Violets~ WOW...I am back, well pretty much. Feel 1000% better, yet still a bit weak. Yesterday I ate more food, and even had a protein shake. Only got in 40oz of water, but that is better than day before. I will hit or exceed 60 today...that is all I can do. I am getting orthotic fitted today. I have heel spurs and must wear them. I basically wear tennis shoes every day. I have Nike's in every color...it works for me! But the last month, my orthotics have squeaked...so time for new ones. I think I am being observed today. Gotta look great and teach a great lesson. I've planned one for today, just need to confirm w/ boss he is still coming in today! Wish me luck. Since I am not feeling myself, I am kinda dreading it. Jane, you can only bring 3oz of liquid of any kind. I have a travel bottle for face cream, etc. but 3 oz of shampoo is nothing. You can check your luggage w/ anything (fluid product wise) no problem. I will need hair spray and shampoo/cond. I want to look pretty for my violets...lol, yeah right.

Thanks for the reminder Judy about the tip of the day. Since I am moving a bit slow today, here is the tip for now. If I can do better later I will! #1DONT EAT SAUCE AFTER IT HAS BEEN IN THE CROCK POT AND TURNED OFF FOR 6 HOURS! #2: THERE IS NO PROTIEN IN PRETZLES. Better ones to hopefully follow.

OOO Good, I need to borrow someone's shampoo and conditioner. I wanna carry luggage on plane and don't want to have to mess w/ 3oz of shampoo etc. The rest of my products I have in 3 oz.!

Hello...back from the depths of Hell! OMG...I can't believe how sick I was. Should have seen me, gaging as I walked the sauce to the trash can. I was sick ALL day yesterday. Went to the store to buy cottage cheese, pretzles and 7-up. All I ate yesterday was pretzles, 7-up, 1 granola bar, and in the late afternoon, I swaggered to DQ for my small Blizzard. Looked like death warmed over. At the store, I opened the pretzles...all those smells in there, thought I was gonna hurl in the store. It was a fun day of sitting on the potty w/ the trash can in my lap...oooo yeah. I gotta tell you the DQ felt good in my tummy though...I think I was pretty raw in there. ALL FROM MY OWN KITCHEN. That totally sucks. Took today off just so I can rest. My body feels like it has been hit by a truck. I think the poison was cursing through me...man. I had food poisoning 1 time before (worse than this time) from an Italian resturaunt (seafood lasagne)...that was a kicker. Almost went to hospital. Gonna try to drink water today. Couldn't drink any yesterday. But I really need to eat something, probably cottage cheese. How much protein is in pretzles? Denise~ Hugs honey. Here is my story. I was w/ Richard for years. There were drugs involved. Abuse. He was freakin crazy (drug induced insainity). He once told the cops, "Tell that bitch, when I get outta here, (I had him arrested, and he was sitting in the cell as I am in the Domestic Violence office getting yet another restraining order) I am gonna kill her!" There are still some secrets from that time in my life that I can't even tell myself yet. I was 23 and thought, "Either I get my shit together now...or I will be in for a long life of this white trash shit." I moved home (not easy at 23), went back to school...and haven't stopped yet. I remember driving home one night thinking, "he is going to kill me tonight!" Anyway...I hope your daughter finds herself and her power within! PURPLE POWER FOR HER! OK...gotta go do some online work. I did nothing yesterday...feels good to be somewhat back to the land of the living!

Remember yesterday I made spaghetti sauce for Susanne (w/ zuccinni, mush, onion, olive, ground beef). It was in the Crocker for her. Well, I got home @ 6:15 and walked in and saw that it was still out...and NOT ON! I thought, "I shouldn't eat this, it has been out ALL day". Well, I stirred it good (ecoli lives on the top) and grabbed a small amount of whole wheat pasta and some sauce and heated it really good. I ate 1/2 the bowl (eyes too big for the tummy). I was fine...(CAN ANYONE SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING). I had some "rumblings" in the evening, and fell asleep during the ice skating. Susanne woke me at 9pm and we went to bed....well she went to sleep. I was sooooo sick and sorry for TMI...was in the restroom ALL night. I've actually poisoned myself. :redface: Finally fell to sleep about midnight, then 4:30 am back at it. I didn't want to take Imodium because I knew I needed to get it out of my body...but gave in about 7am. Susanne went home early because it is raining buckets, and she wanted to avoid heavy traffic since it is supposed to rain all day. I slept until almost 9...and am still sooo sick. Going to the store and get some 7-up and crackers after she calls. The worse part is that I have to throw away 3/4 of a crocker away of some great sauce. Anyway, I was able to talk myself out of not throwing up (cause of the band). I feel sooo sick, like I've been hit by a truck. Man...and I did this to myself! I'll pop in later! xoxo

Hey Violets~ Back from a great day! He really put a rockin show on! I got a pic...but he is just a speck. OOOO I so loved it! We had a great time...sang every song...danced bunches...We parked 4 blocks away (5 bucks instead of $30) and so we even walked 8 blocks round trip! Just great! Gonna curl up w/ Susanne. She was pulling weeds yesterday and that is how she tweaked her back. She rested all day and watched TV...which is just what she needed. I missed her, looking forward to curling up w/ her and watching a movie on TV! Have a great night everyone! Morning Violets! It is the long awaited day! Garth...here I come! Susanne hurt her back and originally was going to drive us (Melissa and Jackie) to the concert...putz around LA for a couple of hours and then we'd go eat. Well, the 4th ticket was for Sarah...and two weeks ago, a school bus hit her car ($1000) deductable) and she can't go. So my next door neighbor, Barry, is gonna go w/ us. I've known Barry since 1980...he is 4 years older than me...and dated my mom for 6 years (in the 80's). He is like a brother to me. But last week he was sooo jealous that I was going to Garth, I thought I'd ask him. I could've sold that extra ticket for major bucks...but since Garth is doing this all for charity, I didn't wanna be an ass and try to make some $ from it. SSSOOO, Susanne will stay home and chill all day...and we will trudge into LA. LA is about 2 hours away, but about 3hours w/ traffic. Plus it is raining...should be interesting! I am off to start some spaghetti sauce for Susanne today. Gonna put it in the crocker and slow cook it. She said, "I'll be fine...I'll just have a slim fast.." I don't think so. Have a great day! Today I've had cott cheese 100 cal Kashi bar 180 Lean Cuisine 280 Tangerine ? nearly 40 oz of water but I am sooo hitting up a blizzard on Sunday! I've had my nose done for 5 or 6 years. I love it and think it is very feminine. I have a sterling star now...been in for months! This is a great way to spend the day!

OK...who has an accent? All these Southern Belles...my money is on Laura! Anyone else have that sexy southern drawl. My family is from the south. My dad still speaks w/ some Carolina twang. And when she was alive, my grandmother and I would chat (drink cocktails and smoke ciggys together...aaahhh the good 'ol days), anyway, after being w/ her, I'd have a drawl for a week. I think in a former life I was a southern woman!!! Anyway...just thought I'd ask. I, of course, talk like a Valley Girl (totally dude)...just kidding. I do say 'dude' from time to time! LOL

Buenos Dias Violetas~ TGIF!!! Today I only teach until 1:50! I love Fridays. It makes such a difference when I know that in the morning. Well, this afternoon we have the garage door guy coming to do some adjustments on the garage door, then probably gonna go see a movie. Then tomorrow...we get to trudge into LA in the rain to see GARTH!!! He will be on TV tonight, LIVE, on CBS from the Staples Center @ 9pm if anyone is interested. That is where I will be tomorrow to see him. He is doing 5 concerts in 2 days all to benefit the Fire victims. Our concert is at 1pm!!! Should be great. TracyK~ My kinderd sister. I told myself on Tuesday, if I worked out everyday, I could have a Blizzard on Sunday. I don't know about you, but my fav is choc. w/ extra Heath Bar!!! And guess what...except for the Cobb sal and some bread, oh yeah...a Jolly Rancher candy...I've been pretty darn good. So I am gonna get one! Blizzards make everyone happy:biggrin:

Anyway.. As long as I get Tubin, Alamo, V's, some dranks, and POSSIBLY a ghost tour, I'm good to go. Me too!!! I am sooo down for the ghost tour and the Alamo. Can't go to TX and not "do" the Alamo.
