Hey V's~ I am freakin pooped out! Kat and Judy...I don't know how you do it. The 3 1/2 year old wore me out...couldn't do every day. I used to teach 18 three year olds...but I was younger. Anyway, he is in my bed sleeping...and I just had to come out and say hey! Terry~ Susanne officially moves out of her apartment this weekend! She will spend the next 6 weeks sleeping in her office. I should explain...she works in old barracks. There are showers (plural) in her office and a kitchen. She is saving 2100 hundred for the month of April and 1/2 of May. She will probably work 4 days/week then come be here for the better part of 3 day weekends. THEN on May 15 (yep, while we are in Texas) she will be in Phoenix for outprocessing. She will then stay w/ her mom for a month or so, as I finish my school year. Then we will be together most of the summer. Her OFFICIAL retirement starts Sept. 1, 08...but as you can see...there are many stages. We are very excited for this weekend. That is huge...not gonna be easy...but huge because she is really living here. She owns her home in Phoenix, but her mom is her tennant, so that will not be sold now or anytime soon. Hey Violets~ I am so bummed. We got ready and we at the church early...and guess what...no mass! They always have a 5pm mass, but today it is a 7pm mass. So, the first time in our 3 years...Susanne was ready to go, but no. Tomorrow is 8, 10 and noon...and I can't go to any of them either. Oh well, we went in and said a prayer, and she promised to go w/ me another day. We went to dinner at a our new friends house. The gay male couple and they live in the swanky swank swank part of town. As soon as we were invited and I found out where...I couldn't wait to go. The house and grounds were AMAZING. They have huge orange blossom trees in the front and back and the doors open and the whole house smells like orange blossoms. The pool is a pebble stone bottom, the dinning room as huge glass doors looking into the yard and pool area. Our dinner was lamb, fresh asparagus, coss coss (sp)...fantabulous!!! We had a wonderful evening. They even have a star on thier house and a plaque because it was built and occupied by Tony Martin and Cyd something...some famous people from back in the day?????? Anyway...georgous! Susanne is sleeping(too much wine) and I am here...watching BB showtime. Happy Easter everyone! xoxoxoxo

Hey V's~ Tomorrow is ham, turkey, mashers, cauliflower, zuccinni, rolls and ice cream and choc. sauce for dessert. It is only for 3 people plus the baby...small group...small food. Gotta run!

Good Morning Violets ( I sound like Charlie from Charlie's Angles...Good Morning Angles) TracyK~ My last ciggy was June 30, 07 and there are times I still really want one. Sometimes when I walk into Wally World or something and people are smoking...I can not stand it...it stinks so bad. Then times, especially walking out of a resturaunt after I eat, that people are smoking outside and I still want one so bad. I 1000% agree w/ Terry...I also ruined my quit w/ "I'll have just a puff, or just one". Uh, no we can't have just one. Good luck, we are all so proud of you (and Susie's hubby too). Terry~ We saw Vantage Point. It was good, not great. I really wanted to see it, she, not so much. But we got our popcorn and cuddled up in the movies which is my favorite thing in the world to do! We have surround sound now, but it is not great...and after what we spent yesterday and the fact that she is moving in offically...we are going top of the line and make it all nice w/ the Bose system! Hey V's~ Long freakin day here! First...Congrats Laura!!! I (we) are so proud of you...that is amazing! Thanks Michelle for the boobie nanners for Laura. I got home last night about 9pm and saw you had it covered! Second...Terry, I loved the pix. It was BEAUTIFUL around here today too. It was 91 this afternoon. But it smells like orange blossoms and I love spring. Third...I forgot my third. Forth...TracyK and Janie, I know who is nom'd and who already got veto!!! Wanna know? Fifth...Susie, say it ain't so:eek:. I was hoping Peeps became a major food group...not on the fattening list. I love peeps, but I haven't had one this season. Susanne and I left the house this am @ 8am (cleaning lady comes and chases us out) and we just got home @ 9pm. We went to breakfast, lunch, here, there, got that offer started w/ brother on the land, went to movies, then to Best Buy and we ended up buying a 52" LCD Sony flatscreen TV:thumbup:. It will be here and hooked up on Thursday! Tomorrow, we are going to the Bose outlet and getting a new surround sound home theatre system. They have them nearly wireless now. Can't wait! My brother will bring Johnny over on Sunday so I decided to make a small Easter dinner. We ran by Honey Baked Ham and grabbed a small one, and I'll whip out some pots and veggies...then we can have leftovers too. Susanne loves ham, me...not so much. But they gave us a free turkey breast. OK...gotta put cream on Susanne's feet. She just soaked 'em and they are healing nicely! I have missed you today. It is funny, I think about you all during my day.

TracyK~ Adam totally creeps me out too. On the Showtime After Dark thingy, they were showing his new HOH room and all his stuff. He got tons of baby food??? Weird weird weird...gonna go see if his noms are posted yet? Supposed to be today!

Hey gang... Kat~ those kinds of kids are called EMO...for Emotional (WTF??) Anywho, they are self identified depressed people, often "cutters" and they listen to really depressed music. We had our Power Point Presentations today. I am so proud of my kids. 2nd and 3rd year in the country and they are presenting their research to an audience. We had popcorn and licorice (sp) for our guests. It was cool, and I am getting major props for it! I had a teacher tell me, "you've motivated me to do more w/ my students". That is huge for me! Toooooo excited! I teach an intervention today so I work until 3pm. But from 2-3 is about 6 kids...they are cool and I don't mind. Think I am gonna let them play Quizdoms a bit while I clean my desk. I worked out 3 days in a row (YEAH ME) this week, but I am taking tonight off. I am pooped out, and gonna wait to see Susanne and relax! Have a great afternoon!

Hey Everyone! This is Holy Thursday!!! And it is a great day cause @ 3pm...I start a 10 day vacation!!!! Helltothefreakinyeah! My brother flaked out on me last night cause he was w/ clients. He knew I was a bit pissed sooooo he called me late and said, "You want Johnny on Easter?" Uuuummm, YEAH! So me and the little man are gonna hang out on Sunday, go to the cemetary to see my mom, then to the Living Desert (a wild animal zoo here), then...I heard Horton Hears a Who is a hoot (hahahahaha). Then shopping at Wally World Monday morning for some clothes and something else fun! Yeah!!! I am soooo glad. Hopefully Susanne will go to the desert thing w/ us. She loves animals and has never been! Sooo, my brother has redeemed himself...for now. We still need to meet about this land though. OK...quick game of scrabble. I got my REAL TOM now and have cramps and sore boobs and the munchies. OH well... I think I hear the Easter Bunny!

Thank goodness we have a 20something year old violet to help us technically challenged, more seasoned violets! Brother just called...we are gonna go to dinner and put an offer in on another piece of land!!! WooHOO...call me Ivanka Trump! (Really, you should see these shitholes we are buying). It sold for 25k in 2006, but fell into foreclosure, not the bank is unloading this for 9k! Hey V's~ Got a meeting this morning at the District office, so I gotta post quickly! I have no Easter plans...just another Sunday. Hey V's~ I just called Tracy to say that I am soooo glad she is coming. I was heart sick when I heard she wasn't, but now I am sooo excited for our trip! (I left a message cause I forgot it is 9pm here...sorry, it is still light out here). I had a conference call at 3:30. Then I had to go to the store and buy a shitload (a new unit of measurment) of popcorn for our Power Point presentations tomorrow. The kids did an AMAZING job w/ these. There are 5 on different natural disasters. Mind you, these kids are 2nd and 3rd year in the country. They are presenting to the principals, librarians, councelors, and a few teachers. We are having popcorn for our audience! I love teaching ELD and love my ELD kids the bestest! Well, while I was in the popcorn aisle, I found something that made me soooo mad. DID YOU KNOW SOMEONE MADE WASABI CHIPS???? I am sooo pissed that I found them. Guess what I had for dinner??? Yep, even worked out (yes, that is 2 days in a row for those who are counting) and then had chips for dinner!!! Wonder why/how I put on all this weight??? What # Susie??? There are too many TV choices tonight??? What to do...what to do??? Go play scrabble then come back and check in on the Violets...that's the ticket! Oh yeah, I was gonna mention about the guests that come in and read our drama...we are not as weird as we appear. That was pretty funny today! BBL

Hi I am Tracy and I am addicted to Ice Cream! Everyone... Hi Tracy!

Susanne is my bestest friend, she makes me laugh, and she hates when I cry. She does the laundry (all of it), makes the bed, and does yard work too! She makes me a better person. She speaks 2 languages, has long legs (size 10...all together...BIOTCH), AND likes to go to movies and share popcorn w/ me! She tells me I am pretty everyday! She is the best part of me! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life w/ her, and I thank God EVERYDAY for bringing her into my life!

There was a time when St. Paddy's day meant green beer, party and bar hoppin, and a green hangover in the morning! Now, the violets can't keep their eyes open. I am watching Dancing...but my eye lids have other ideas! Sweet dreams violets!
