Same here I got banded on June 27th and have not lost a pound, I acutally gained 5 pounds, I already have gotten 5 fills and no restriction what so ever!! I am now at a totall of 9 cc's IN my 14 cc band!!! SO I FEEL YOU PAIn

ok so Tomorrow I go for my 5th fill!!!!! lets see how this 5th fill will go !! I hope I finally get some restriction....my I will be over 9cc's wow I think that is a lot!!!

Hello low BMI Bandsters, does the size of your band matter? I have the large band I got my surgery 3 months ago, I have a total of 8cc's in my large band, I wonder if it's because my Dr, put a large band on me, if that is one of the reasons why it's taking for ever to hit the sweet spot, as of today I have not lost nothing I am so frustrated. I have no restriction what so ever! Isn't the large band for people with a higher BMI? I just think That If my Dr would of put on me the standard band (the smaller one), I would have lost some weight by now so confused, anyone out there with a low BMI that could tell me what size of band they have and how long/or fills it took to hit there Sweet spot/restriction MY bmi is a 34 thanks

Yea that is how I feel, (that the 14cc band is used for men or people with a higer bmi I did see My Dr, Yesterday and I question him again on it, and his response was "THAT EVERY ONE HAS A DIFFERENT SIZE OF STOMACH, THAT SOMEONE REALLY SMALL COULD HAVE A BIG STOMACH AND THAT SOMEONE REALLY BIG COULD HAVE A SMALL STOMACH" verry confusing! but yes from what I see it is going to take more fills to get to my sweet spot I now have a total of 8.5 cc's gosh That is so much, you would think I at least have lost a pound, BUT nope I still weight the same, as the day of my surgery, as a matter of fact I have gain 4 pounds

Your words are so Inspiring, I love how you keep it real girl!!!! from reading everybodys blog/post I kind of felt bad, I thought I was the only one that will not watch what I eat....lol...I am so glad you understood me! Hello there, I noticed you also had a low BMI, how long did it take you to loose the weight? I am now @ 8cc's and have not lost a pound, I have the large band...IDK, why my Dr, decided to put a large band on me, I think that why I have not meet my sweet spot

So Tomorrow I see my DR again, I already have 8cc's and NO weight lost what so ever since I got my band, so I am pretty sure he will give me another fill for a total of 9cc's......I pray to God this fill works having A low BMI...I dont know why my Dr, decided to put this big band on me I have the Large band!!!

Thanks for the Info Elcee, yes yu are so right I have to be true to my self, however I am always hungry I can control it, and about the drinks I do fallow that, but sometimes I fell like I am choking and drink water, so u really dont think it has to do with the size of my band?, I mean I do have a low BMI....I only need to loose 50 pounds, a co-worker of mine also has the large band however she was 300 + pounds and had a big BMI, also I heard that the big band is also used for men....also since my band its so big what happens once I start loosing weight, and then the band needs more adjustments (fills) and I am already haved maxed the band and have no more space available? all that freaks me out!

Hey US Plus, well I did call my dr's office and was told that I have the large band wich I belive hold up to 14cc's, In the begining on my 1st Dr's visit I did mention to my Dr, after he informed me I had the large band, I did ask why? why large if I have a low BMI? his responce was that when he was doing my surgery he felt that the large will be a better option for me, that if he would of put the standard the smaller one It would of been to tight and verry uncomfertable when I eat, ! However I honestly fell with in my heart that that is one of the reasons why I am not loosing weight, It now has been 3 months since my surgery and have not lost a pound I still weight the same amount from my surgery day, I think because the band is to big for me, IDK, that is just how I fell, I know have 8cc's and like I said no restriction what so ever, IDK lets see what happens my next dr's app, will be Tuesday, and since I am still not loosing anything most likely he will give me another fill! I will keep u posted:) THANKS FOR REPLYING:D -
Going too se my Dr, this Tuesday, Lets see how it goes, If I do get a fill it will be my 3rd fill in 6 weeks as for right now I have 7cc and no restriction what so ever!!!!!!

So so far this 2nd fill is not working for me at all, SUPER FRUSTRADED I now have 7cc and no restriction what so ever!!!!!!

two weeks ago I got my first fill at 4cc, today I got my second fill 3cc total of 7cc...was not supposed to get my second fill till 2 more weeks from today, but my Dr. notice that my first fill did not work at all, so he decided to give me another fill, I just pray to God this second fill works!!!

OMG MY 1ST FILL DID NOT WORK AT ALL, I AM GETTING WORRIED I HOPE THIS BAND DOES WORK, I COULD STILL EAT ANYTHING AND I AM ALWAYS HUNGRY

3 weeks post of, so stressed I feel like if i am gaining weight instead of loosing "will I ever loose weight!", ALWAYS HUNGRY!! I FELL THE SAME AS B-4 WITH OUT A BAND!

My main Incision has been bleeding for 6 days now, nonstop!! (I am on my 2 week post of) I have seen my Dr. twice last week and he told me, that it is not that common but it happens sometimes WTH, I could swear I need some stitches but Instead, he gave me some pads and a girdle to hold the pressure! dont see him again till Tuesday, I am just confused and worried I could get an INfection!!!! Has anyone ever experience this problem? thanks

Hey there how are you doing now with your fill? are you still hungry, I am 2 week post and I can eat anything like if I dont have a band on me Normal food, How is it after you get that fill, I know you had the same problem I am having right now. thanks

hey there I am doing good and you, its almost are 2 week post op, I am just bleeding from 1 of my incision for a week now, have seen the Dr twice this week will see him again on Tueday in regards of my bleeding, But rather then that everything is good, I am eating food now! I know I am supposed to wait 1 more week, but I am being careful more soft foods and soups stuff like that and you?

hey girl I am glad your fill went great, yes I am still bleeding all this week, it is getting to me, I have seen the Dr twice all week have a nother app on Tueday, I am excausted of this, plus it hurts i can do nothing cause it over bleeds!!!
