It all really started for me last June when my orthopedic surgeon said I needed to lose a lot of weight to help my knees out lol. He sent a message to my primary doctor and the process officially began. I started options classes in January and ended in April. In June met with the actual surgeons, and had my pre op yesterday. I had one appt with the surgeon first to discuss time off work, pre-op diet starting next Wednesday (liquid only), go over vitamins, medications, and go over questions I had. Then I had another appt with an RN to sign more paper work, get an ekg done, urine and blood. Then they said someone would call me next Thursday to let me know what time my surgery would be YAYYYYYYYY! I'm super excited! I have been a yo yo dieter for ssooooooo long! I'm praying this tool will help me to finally maintain a healthy weight "normal" weight!!!! And get the pressure off my tore up knees and back Lol!
