im sooo excited

I dont know if im the only one that feels this way and I would like somebody to talk to plz. Here it goes........I'm 21 about to be 22 and I've been fat a majority of my life. Since I was 8 I've been picked on, taunted and all that jazz. At the age of 13 I lost 60lbs. So when I started HS i was 150lbs and was still made fun of but not as much. Also I had to deal with this new found attention i was getting from boys because I was thinner and had large breast (14 and was a DD). It got to the point that I got punched in the head because I 'thought I was cute." By prom I was 189lbs. Now I'm 239 and I'm on the journey to getting the surgery but I'm SCARED OUTA MY SHORTS!!!!!! I don't know what to expect from ppl. I'm afraid that people are going to try and harm me because they might become eaulous. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be cocky or anything but according to what ppl in my life have told me I have the type of personality that people hate me for. And if you add that to me possibly being 130lbs come Sept........I dont know how people are going to act towards me. Jealousy? Hatred? Acceptance........Idk If you can offer me some words of experience or anything please do Thank You

I haven't been sleeved yet so I'm thinking about workouts I can start doing now and continue to do after being sleeved. I've never done zumba and I'm not a fan of da gym because I feel as though everyone is watching me and talking about me.....anyways I was wondering if I should buy the whole dvd pack and start doing it now or just buy one dvd? Or should I just go to one class and see if I like it? Has anyone else tried it? How did it go? I used to dance so I dont think it will be to hard to follow. Thanks

@cowgirl......what i mean is that i have a bright, bubbly attitude and i always see the light at the end of the tunnel NO MATTER WHAT. I get it from my nana lol. Im a strong believer in the fact that it takes tll much energy to be angry at any person or anything. All my life Ive let ppl's opinion about me effect me so i guess that is where my worry stems from

@teddybear im wit u on dat. I cant wait 2feel like ppl r staring at me because of how gud i look instead of how big i am. I cant wait 2buy sexy outfits n actually feel sexy in dem.

I cant wait to shop at VS, Pretty Girl and Mandees again. Im young and never got to dress sexy/hoochie-ish so cant wait for that lol. I cant wait to wear a monokini. Cant wait to go into a store and not head to the plus size section. Cant wait to hold my bf and my tummy isnt in the way. Cant wait to wear an outfit and not need any type of shapewear AT ALL......this is a long list lol but im done for now.

I'm 21, 233lbs and BMI is 39.9. I dont have any health problems, at least not that I know about lol, and I wanted to know if anybody who has HIP had to jump through any hoops or anything like that? Is my age going to cause drama since Im young? thanks in advance

I went to the seminar in June with my mother.....o yea i left that out lol I'm 21yrs old, 233lbs, 41 bmi......I'm looking to go with Dr. Jenny Choi from Montefiore. I went to my first appt 2day and now I'm on the road to surgery. I have a huge check list so I'm kewl beans and I'm looking forward to this being my Christmas present. Well first off CONGRATS on being banded and also on ur 'lightbulb moment'. Now to my PERSONAL OPINION. I do think you were well miss informed when you did get the band as many others would agree. I myself haven't been banded yet but I'm lloking foward to it because I've been struggling with losing and keeping this weight off. You sir sat in your surgeon's face and lie just to get an 'easy fix' was very wrong and you are part of the reason why people like me and Rachel and many others have to jump through hoops. Don't sit here and have a name like " god give me strength" but yet you jump on people for stating their opinions. That's all I'm saying

Hey Lisa.....can u keep me posted on ur progress with this because I also have been going to WW for yrs and even though I havent met my surgeon yet I want to know if getting WW info is even possible.....just in case. Good Luck

I too am looking to get the lap band done. I would suggest Dr. Vemulapalli from Albert Einstein. Ive heard zero complaints. 60% of her surgeries are Lap-bands

Hey there. I know Im super duper late but I want to know what happened with HIP PRIME because I too have that insurance. Im only at 39.9 BMI but Ive been fat for over 5yrs. Since I was 13 to be exact.

I have HIP PRIME. I inbetween PCPs at the moment and that is why I havent started any tests just yet.
