    It's hard to be the cook...

    Hi I cook 3 meals I for my husband 1 for my kids and 1 for me Isometimes only one meal any Pasta all can eat /pizza they all have theres I have a lean cuisine /and the same with lazzonya eggs I love sushi I am just careful about what I order I only cook 4 days a week 1 day is left overs and one day my husband a one day my mom If I am feeling week or I think I am going to eat it all I have my diner early hope that helps

Hi Maria,This is the best thing I have ever done for myself I am 15 day post op now,I have not gotten sick or had gas I am a little sour,just back to work But I have a very labor intense job, just follow DR. words like they mean somthing,when it comes to food chew like you are the blender before it gowes down.Don't let a few not so good comments stop you look at all the good this will have on your life as I am already noticing in mine..hear is my email if you want talk off this site stevensfive@shaw.ca I am in Canada but had my lapband done in the USA hope all gose well .

    Am I the only one....

    Hi,I am 15 days post op now 1 week liquides 1 week mush yesterday my first meal My husband sets the timer on the stove(20 min) and I eat with chop sticks (slowes me right down) when I get really hungery I play tricks on myself I say to my self my husbands talking me to the Keg for a nice diner,I don't want to spoil that so I have a drink water or whatever and its fine. evan at the diner table every one is eating wonderful food and I have fish to make my protine for the day,I say to myself (THIS SUCKS)BUT ALSO When I am done my meal 20 min and let it sit for 10 (30 min ) I am still feeling like I am depriving myself I will have a bite..I never do I am full This has gone on in my head since my pre op diet...I got on the scale today I have gone from a 217 to 195 in 26 days OMG its all about playing with you own hunger and mind sorry I am long winded hope that helps alittle

    Hi,I see Dr.Arsneau on the 15th of June (my first fill),It dose take a few weeks to see him but my Dr.had nothing but good things to say.Dr.A also got back to me the same day(via e-mail) I am very happy I donot have to go to the USA for my fills although it is still an option.down town is so much better Good luck..
  9. I did it ,after 4 years of thinking about it.What was I waiting for?? 10 days out just started musheee stage and can eat about 3/4 cup of puree.But the nice thing is any thing can be blended.I've been looking at this forum for some time now.Thought it was time to say good day everyone.
