Denise, Thanks. I am worried, it seems like i got such a big feel and then not to feel anything is so discouraging!

In my post that I lost I was telling you about my DD who is going to be 16 in July. Yesterday it was raining so I told her that we were going to go pick her sister up from the bus stop and she could drive. Well she was backing out and turned the wheel the wrong way and when I was telling her to hit the brake she panicked and hit the gas and ran us into my brick retaining wall…………… the story gets better! So my car is not teetering off of a slab of the brick. So my DH gets home and tries to pull my car out without any luck it is stuck and it is really damaged. I call the insurance company they are sending a tow truck out on Monday but the tow truck driver calls and asks me about my car being stuck on a wall. I try and explain and he tells me he is not sure he can get it out! Good grief! If he can’t get it then what, does it become part of the lawn decorations? My poor DD I was yelling at her and it was really not her fault. I just saw my car and could not believe it. Oh well. I get a rental on Monday and if this guy gets my car out he will be towing it to the shop! KIDS!! I swear.

Hi all..... I lost my last post and it was a desperate plea for help! I got a what i think compared to most others was a BIG fill (2.7cc's) anyway I am still hungry! I can still eat. What is wrong, a leak? A slippage? Is anyone who has been filled feeling like this? Today is day two so i will wait and see what happens tomorrow but if Monday comes and I am still feeling the same then I will call Dr K and see what he can do before his African get away................ I am feeling blue!

Hi guys, I got my fill yesterday. As i said before it was a whopping 2.7cc's so I am thinking wow i am barely going to be able to eat and the loss is going to come. Well today is day 2 and I can still eat! Can you believe that? I need to know has anyone else ever had this happen? If i dont feel something tomorrow i am goign to call my Dr and get back in. I am starting to worry that my band has slipped? Or maybe i have a leak? Let me know if anyone else has felt this way............ i am getting worried!

mdrai~ Dont worry, we have all had our fears and doubts that is perfectly normal. I believe if you asked anyone of us we would all tell you we made the right decision and would gladly do it again! A newsflash on my fill: for lunch I ate fine....... i stayed full until 8:00 pm then I ate two tiny bites of a pork chop and one bite of mashed potatoes and I am FULL! I couldn't eat another bite and believe me that pork chop was just lookin at me wanting me to eat it. But I couldn't <--- Yippee!!! Tracyinks -- good job on tossing the meatloaf! What a victory!! Terridoodle -- good job on not trying "just one more bite"..... you would have really hurt! Sorry you had to deal with the slime why your mother was there. That must have been tough. Hi everyone! Welcome back Sara!! It is good to see you on and thank god it is FRIDAY!! I can say that since I called in sick today to get my fill. Ok about my fill........ i must be like a big vaccum since I took 2.7cc's can you believe that? My first fill. He was having me drink water out of a dixie cup and kept asking if i was feeling tight yet? Nope, not yet I kept saying, it was going down just fine. Finally three cups later I FELT IT!! Horay! A tight feeling. Does this mean I am going to lose some weight now, I ask my Dr. and he just laughs. He said can you feel it going down and I said yes so he said I think you are a bit on the tight side... i told him to leave it. I would be happy if he could just help me starve myself....... anyway I ate some lunch and drank some water. Didn't feel too tight. Felt ok, I can feel a little difference. I hope my band is ok I swear 2.7cc's seems like a lot to me....... but what the heck do i know. Now Haydee and Jennifer: Quit giving it away to these users for free! They are not worthy of your time, or your love. Pretty soon the men will be lining up and you can tell these jerks good ridence! Cassenova's Mom, That is so cute! I hate when our kids grow up. I have felt the same way and have had a hard time since my oldest moved out...... wait for that moment. I still have a hard time believeing she is turning 20 in June! Boo hoo! Hi everyone! I am home from my fill. It was not to bad although I must have been wide open! First I laid down wy he did the ultrasound, he had a bit of a time getting the needle in my port but finally it went in. Then I stood up (no looking) and he filled me. He filled me with 2.7cc's. Doesn't that seem like a lot for the first fill? I can still still drinik my water and for lunch "I ate the cheese and toppings off a piece of pizza, slowly with lots of chewing and no problems. I hope there is nothing wrong with my band. When he was filling me he kept asking me if i was feeling anything.... I kept saying not yet........ until finally after three dixie cups of water I felt a little "tightening" feeling. Maybe that has been my problem all along I have had NO restriction so I have not lost anything but the initial weight. I weighed in at 188 which was 2lbs heavier then my scale but that is ok.......... LET THE LOSING BEGIN!!

Thanks Dynamo for sharing about the fill! I can't look so forsure I am going to stand up! Wonder why you got .9cc and Anita got 1.9cc - lets see what i get! Mal, My appointment is at 1000. It is at the office, what time is your surgery? Maybe i can come by the surgical center and wish you luck! Anita, I know how bad this sounds but I hope my fill is as restricting as yours! I dont want to be able to eat! Ok I will check in tomorrow when I get back from the Dr.s office! Have a great night.

Angie: You are probably not losing as fast as some because you are already in ONEderland! I bet your fill WILL help, and I bet you start losing inches QUICK ++++++++++++++++++++ TrackinKS -- I hope your right! I have my fingers, toes, and boobs crossed! I can't see your picture!! =(

Anita, I did hear from Sunnysea she is going through some rough spots. She does still come in and read some posts and then hurry out. She can use any encouragement you want to send. I sent her a note via personal message and she replied. I have not heard from Tater Bug! So maybe we should the samething. We need a phone roster!

Thanks Drew! I think I would prefer to stand as well, that way i dont really have to look at what he is doing. I will just look ahead. Did you lose a good amount of weight after your first fill? I have heard the weight will start really coming off then and I am hoping that is the case for me.

Angie38 - have a wonderful time in CA. Hugs all, Thank you Michelle, I can't wait. I have not seen my mother or grandmother in over a year and grandma is not doing to well so I need to get home and have a great visit. Also I am so much just looking forward to laying on the beach...... warm sand, warm skies, BIG SIGH! I need a break from work which has been horrible these last few months. Oh and my mama works at Disneyland (we get in free) so we always take the kids there and it is usually a wonderful day for us all.

Labgeek... Where or bring slip-on shoes. That was great for me. I had flip flops and streach pants, w/shirt. I was also really thirsty on the way home, I could not drink that much but needed to keep my throat wet, so I would say an extra bottle of water as well. Good luck and let us know how you are! Anita, Thanks for telling us about the fill. I go tomorrow and am scared, but so anxious as well. I am also a big wimp (all five feet of me) when it comes to needles BUT I have not lost one dang pound in three weeks so this fill has to work for me! Michelle, Great job working with the trainer and on your NSV!! Also let us know how your fill goes todays. You know we want all the details!!!

Haydee, I am the same way! When I went in for surgery the only thing that really even bothered me was the shot in my tummy..... aHHHHH that freaked me out. The IV was a bit of a pain, but since I have had many IV's I knew what to expect. So I am worried about my fill tomorrow as well. I think I am going to take some of my liquid vicoden before I head to the Dr.s. You all are so funny. I am having a rotten day and then I read these posts and just started laughing! OMG this is so funny! "So this morning I got to work early and I decided I'm going to do some of that ab work where you get on all fours." That is something that would happen to me! Judy, Tell DH good job!! Also great job on your NSV. Everyone with fills this past week how are you feeling? Are you losing yet? (please please give me hope!) Are you still on liquids or able to eat?

ibchelle: 40 lbs in a month - I am jelious!! Congratulations! Yep I 'd say that is pretty dang fast. I am going to bury my head in a hole. I am still down only 7lbs since banding 4/18 and a total of 10lbs since my one week pre-op. I get my fill tomorrow and am praying that will kick start my body. I have not been eating the greatest, but way better then before bandland. I also have been walking almost 3 miles / 3x a week. I am COUNTING on my fill to get me through and start seeing some loss.

Is there a quick way to get to my journal?

Oh one more thing! Who was getting in the 70+ grams of protein a day and how?

Kity, I am so so sorry for you! What terrible news. I lost my father when i was eleven to cancer. So I can't imagine my mom ever getting sick! :eek: Sara, Hope all is going well with your papers. We are all thinking about you and routing for you:clap2: .

Anita, You are so funny! I was laughing at the picture thing. I feel the same way. I asked my husband to take pictures of me front and side view every month on the same day! I am getting close to my first one month picture and am wondering why I ever asked him! LOL! Anyway, dont worry about the over eating. I believe that once you get filled (TODAY!!) those 4lbs will just come right off! I am also eating more then I was or want too, but less then I used too. I went to a Sky Sox game on Sat and 1/2 a hot dog, a cookie, peanuts, and a piece of pizza so how is that for eating WAY to much! I am ashamed to even write it and share it. I have not weighed in a few days because I dont want to get discourged. Today I am back on eating good and am counting down the days until Friday! Good luck with your fill today.
