Our wally world is open 24/7 so i am not sure how that works here. I need to find out! I cant believe the tickets were so CHEAP! I just paid $300 for my two daughters to go see Hannah Montana.

Hi Kity! How are you? I just heard on the radio that for all us poor slugs that could not go see Garth we can go to the movie theater here and watch it live. I guess they are high tech and can satellite it in. That is an option but I’ll pass. It is just not the same as being there~ Tracy I am so sorry for you! I think I would have had to sale my tickets!! That would be me standing on the corner I would have made some serious $$.

Tina, I think i am in your boat......... or your past boat! I got a fill on Oct 25th; Dr. K filled me all the way and then took some out. I thought I felt good for a few days and was steady at losing a pound every other day (yippee) but for the past few days I can barely even keep water down. Were you spitting up a lot? I think I am spitting up half of what i eat! I am not eating very much. Yesterday I went and bought some baby food just so i could have some nourishment as I was getting worried. I am hoping this will pass and I wont have to get an unfill. I like losing the weight but I don’t want to get sick. I also hear you on the wanting to eat mass amounts of food. I am almost 7 months out and have not taken one bite of a big juicy burger, or a Chicago style dog…… I miss eating too. I wish I could remember the saying Being thin feels better then eating “that” tastes. Something like that! Let me know how you were felt when you were to full. Thanks, Angie

Hi everyone! It has been awhile..... i am missing my "band family". I finally hit the 30lb mark..... YIPPEE. How is everyone out there? Anyone miss me? :cry I am going to see Dr K on the 15th for a small fill. I wnat to get through the holidays..... :whoo: I am eating great now, not a lot of PB's or slimes and I was sliming like crazy for awhile! I think i finally have figured out what works for me. Steak just doesn't work. Well i am going to go back and read all the posts i have missed over the past few months. :bored

I am 4' 11 and my goal weight is 120. No way would i want to be 99lbs! that is too small for my frame.

I love that idea! I think once I get down to 150 I am going to get that permanently tattooed. I am not sure where....... but i love that! :clap2:

I think I am in with no problem!! I was banded in April and as of today have lost 20lbs =[ that is about a pound a week but it isn't coming off like that. So what do you say fearless leader........ can i join?

Hi everyone! I lost my last dang post! I don’t know what happens. I hit something with this laptop and the post just goes away! Anyway a lot has happened with you all since I have been gone. About a month since my last post! Too long, I know. We were camping and spending all free moments out in the sun, now we are in Canada. It is wonderful here. My DH and I have been here about 9 days now and are leaving in two. He is here for work and I am here for a vacation from work!! I have been lying around the pool, and shopping… it has been nice except for all the eating out! I am doing well on eating but have really been indulging in alcohol! Which is so bad, I know….. all the liquid calories! I have been swimming and went to the gym a couple times. I have gotten 3 fills this far and have a total of 4.1cc’s in my band. I am probably overfull since I can only eat a little more then an ounce of food at one time and have been sharing all my dh’s food with him. I can not eat meat unless it is baby size bites, bread is the same thing, but I am ok with salads and soups. I don’t want any taken out because for the first time I can feel my cloths getting bigger. TracyinKS – congrats on the wedding!! I had no idea! Wedding planning help and lovin all at the same time what a lucky girl!! Laura, That is awful about your honeymoon!! I would be so dang angry! I miss chatting with you all!! I am heading to the gym now thanks to your encouragement! Angie

TerriDoodle, I am so glad that your DS is doing great on his meds. That shows you made the right decision and that is the hardest job as a parent. Will he have to take them for life or is it a temporary thing?

Hi Everyone! How are you all doing? I have been missing you and all the inspirational posts. I have been busy with school and work and getting the kids off to their dads for the rest of the summer. I read some of the posts to catch-up and it sounds like most everyone is doing well! I am still not at the right "spot" and have lost and gained the same two pounds since surgery. URGH! I know i am eating way less and have started at curves and have gone faithfully 3x a week for three weeks now and still...................... yep you guessed it.... NOTHING. I am going in to get my third fill tomorrow and i can't wait I am going to really make him fill me until i can barely swallow... ok maybe not that extreme, but you get the picture. I will let you know how it goes, so far i have been filled twice and i am at 3.1cc's seems like i should be losing but..... but.... but... that is the story of my life. I have missed you all..........

Hi guys! How is everyone doing? I know i have not posted in so long... I hope everyone is well. I did go back and read a lot of the posts to catch up and it seems we are all in the same boat as far as getting discouraged. That is why i love this site! Drew, what did you do when you came to a standstill or like me lost the first 10-15lbs and have not lost a pound since. I have had two fills so i am at 3.1cc's now and still nothing. I also started going to curves (faithfully) 3x a week. So what is the deal... i am eating less, working out and still the dang scale does not move well it moves up two and then down two the same two pounds. I have my third fill tomorrow so i am hoping this is the one!! Common restriction! I am going to make him fill me until i can't get a swallow down, ok maybe not that drastic but i want to be really tight. Other then that what is new? What have i missed? I will check in more often it has just been crazy around here with summer. I am working fulltime and going to school fulltime but, my kids just left to go spend the rest of the summer with their dad so i do have a little break there! Whoo hoo, <-- did i say that? Miss you all!!

Hey there! i know i have been gone for awhile. Sorry. They blocked me at work so i can only post from home now =(. I will try and check in when I am doing my homework. Dont think I told you I also go to school. I only have a few classes left for my bachlors degree. Yippee! Drew-- thanks for noticing that I was MIA! I think my fill is working a little better. Yesterday i ate two tacos for dinner (not good) and then today I could barely eat anything! I dont get it. i have an appt with Dr K on Thur again so maybe he can tell me what he thinks. I scheduled the appt for more of a fill. i will let you know what happends. I am also having my TOM finally.... first time since my surgery. I have lost 2 lbs. Love you guys! Angie

You guys are so FUNNY! I must admit the car story is funny. I can laugh about it now. My husband was making the same kind of jokes about using the car as a lawn decoration/flower planter etc. He said we could plant a tree under it and have a redneck tree house in the yard. LauraJ23, Thanks for the advice on the fill. I was so discourged when i didnt feel anything after such a large fill. That really makes me feel better. I am just worried if i wait two weeks then my Dr will be gone for a month on his African safari (nice huh)..... so maybe i will wait a week and ask him to tighten me up a little. Thanks for everyones advice!

One more story -- really kind of funny! In my post that I lost I was telling you about my DD who is going to be 16 in July. Yesterday it was raining so I told her that we were going to go pick her sister up from the bus stop and she could drive. Well she was backing out and turned the wheel the wrong way and when I was telling her to hit the brake she panicked and hit the gas and ran us into my brick retaining wall…………… the story gets better! So my car is not teetering off of a slab of the brick. So my DH gets home and tries to pull my car out without any luck it is stuck and it is really damaged. I call the insurance company they are sending a tow truck out on Monday but the tow truck driver calls and asks me about my car being stuck on a wall. I try and explain and he tells me he is not sure he can get it out! Good grief! If he can’t get it then what, does it become part of the lawn decorations? My poor DD I was yelling at her and it was really not her fault. I just saw my car and could not believe it. Oh well. I get a rental on Monday and if this guy gets my car out he will be towing it to the shop! KIDS!! I swear.
