I am kinda glad to see this type of post. This is my biggest fear for myself. Jay, i think that with any life change maybe you need to start like i did when i went from 315 to 240 w/o the band. (Hoping to be banded next month or so) I just had to start moving and doing whatever it took to feel better. DOnt try and take in the whole thing and change everything all at once. You have the tool its up to you to utilize it, when your ready and in away that works for you. For me the whole point of this journey is for me to feel better and be healthy. Take sometime , listen to your body and react accordingly. I would agree that an over eaters anonymous group would help i hav ebeen to some of those meetings and they are awesome.
You said you know the steps, pick a few changes say 2, do those for a few weeks then add others, next thing you know your on track with minimal pain.
