I guess my fav. foods are latino flavored... My wife was making some ground turkey for her taco, I borrowed the spice mix and fixed up my cottage cheese, with a dab of salsa on top- I had the same flavor going as she did- next i heated up some roasted pepper and tomato soup- bland as all out... so I mixed them together and got a flavorful soup. as soon as I am able to eat veggies... I want to make a pastaless lasagna using either zucchini planks or eggplant slices, turkey meat, cheese and sauce- YUM!

I have already practiced in my mind mini muffins and those delicious strawberry cannoli's on Egg face I watched my family eat deli sammy's yesterday, spicey mustard, turkey, cheese, pickles, peppercinis... meanwhile my cottage cheese with blueberry yogurt was slippin on down.... and my wife grilled up some chicken last night... I watched her like a dog... cream of asp. Soup slurp- yum... I just want to crunch SOMETHING!

I have no idea how I want to be nor would I ever slate what my wife needs to be... I want to be healthy and I want my life partner to be healthy too, so we can be active together, I do love how the small portions are, the weight loss news, daily or weekly... crossing things off the LIST... it's the journey not the destination...

Hi- we share the same sleeve date lump- shortness of breath... I say is either a post op infection or has to do with the breathing tubes-Anastesia... I had a post op cold- head/lungs... today I feel better- however- 1. after breakfast-shake and a shower, I am tired. 2. my ambition level is still low. 3. last two days, every time I stand up- I get dizzy. I have lost 19 pounds since last monday. 52 since orientation on 2/22. I am trying to be more upright today and mobile to see if the dizzyness goes away- or I will try to get a Bp check tomorrow- I was not on bp meds, however this is exactly how I felt- when I was on them and lost the weight... I too, love eggs- can't wait... but my wife is sayng not until Dr. app. 1 week tuesday... I so also want mashed potatoes... I hope my taste buds don;t change... so far I am disliking decaf tea... still like decaf coffee. -
Anyone else here married to a sleever or RNY? I am- My wife is 6 months out RNY. and she is a ROCK! helping me, reminding me... and not hounding me... been nice not to worry about things all week, she sets me up, drinks, vits, and even calls to make sure I am being mobile. it's like a second honeymoon...(except for the sex part- which needs to be remedied soon) and FTR- she is skinnier than when we married, not that it ever mattered to me.. She is such a kind and caring person, I win! tell me about how wonderful your S/O is to you.

My wife just told me this, I went to bed before her- and when she came to bed- she could barely see me under the covers. I haven't lost that much (like her) but I could see a twinkle in her eye. I was so INTO ME, I wanna loose weight, walk more, be healthy... wow- there is a skinny chic checking me out -
