I was banded 4/28/11 and my pre-op diet was liquids for 3 days and of course liquids after the banding. One thing I did was buy vanilla protein powder and used different kinds of extract to change the taste. I didn't get sick of the shakes at all. Good luck with the surgery, follow the rules and you will be fine. I'm down 32lbs.
