You are the one who is so impressed with herself. I don't mind being challanged if we are talking about real issues. You love to make a big deal about nothing. It seem to give you some meaning in you life I guess! You find my knowledge of the Bible "debatable" but I don't see you finding anything specific to point out?
-
Your garbage isn't even worth a comment. You are just pitiful!
-
Let's just say that the distain is mutual! You seem to delight in picking apart every phrase or comment looking for something to rag about. If you are feeling inferior, it's not because I make you feel that way. Maybe it has something to do your YOU! I am on several other boards and threads, involved in support group meetins and a host of other things where I interact with other people and even discuss faith, and I get along great with everyone. Yeah, they even think I'm a nice guy! The only place there seems to be a problem is in this venue, primarliy with you and Wheetsin. I find it very difficult to function in a heathenistic, athiest environment, where God isn't a priority. You say you don't have a problem with my beliefs, but that is a lie from the pit of Hell. You take every opportunity to throw in the little digs, such as "Yeah, that's prophesized, we know"! Do you have the capacity to be honest and admit the distain you have toward God (Yeah, I know, you can't have distain if you don't believe if God). Nice cop out!
-
Maybe "hate" is not the right word. Maybe I shoue have said athiests "abhor" Christians and the very thought that there could be a God. Just so you don't twist this around also, this is a general statement, and there may be exclusions, as with the example of your parents. As a general rule, athiests that I have come across display the same distain for God and Christians that you have shown on this thread.

You want to play on samantics. You are your shadow are real pieces of work! You just love to provoke. Enjoy yourselves. I am getting a good laugh out of all your ranting!
-
It took you all night to come up with that?? How original!
-
Absolutely pathetic, but true to form! You jovce to take things out of context to make arguments that don't hold water. Dipping you in chocolate and putting you on a sundae would do the sundae any good!
-
I don't think so but you are entitled to your opinion!:faint:
-
I thought the format on this board was to argue and discuss! So are you saying that if we disagree with someone, we shouldn't argue the point. I respect everyone right to have their own opinion, but does that preclude arguing against it. I think everyone might be happy if I just agreed with their view points, right!! Give me a break! You consider that being a bully?
-
You want the government to give you free will? Then can I sell drugs in front of your house? Can I break into your home and help myself to your TV? You can't have it both ways!
-
Whatever you want, but it's not unliness! It's understanding my responsibilities as a Believer!
-
I'm not suprised! That is exactly the type of compromising the faith I was talking about. And of course, your athiest, liberal friends here will agree with your choice!
-
Your nit-picking is so childish it make for a good laugh! So let's just say "hate's Christians and what they believe"! Does that make you feel better?? Because from my perspective, your ultra-liberal beliefs are out in left field! I believe that most the ultra-liberal ideals and principalsa are wayyyyyy out there! Yeah, nuts is a good word!
-
No problem then! We can agree to disagree! Just let me ask you one question. If it came down to a vote weather or not to allow gay marriage, how would you vote?
-
I am not trying to be argumentative either, I am just trying to understand your mindset. Coming from someone with your foundational beliefs, I find them hard to comprehend. Maybe we should con tinue this discussion by private eMail.
-
Then maybe it's me! I just can't comprehend how you could consider something to be sin, and abomination and spoken against in scripture, and condone it for others and not speak out about it!! Your position that "two consenting adults can choose to live an abominal lifestyle, and it doesn't effect society" just doesn't make any sense to me. If you remember your scriptures, you will recall that this was the very lifestyle that cause the downfall of Sodom. Do you think homosexuality had a bad effect on that society??

I told you I had no idea of the accuracy of their information. I was just pointing out that there are other statistics out there that say otherwise. Listen, a lot of the references used on this thread come for very Liberal left-wing nuts that don't have an unbiased viewpoint either. Have you discounted those too?
-
I just viewed the site for the first time. It contains stats for homicides only, but assuming that the same ratio is also comparable to all violent crime, that my assumption was wrong and I stand corrected. This is what I have been asking for all along and I have no problem admitting when I am wrong. I never saw this link before.
-
Here are a couple of sites that show completely different statistics. http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/racewar.htm http://www.nc-f.org/findings.htm I don't know how accurate their information is any more that I know how accurate the information is for any sites that you find. The point you love to skip over is that I voiced an OPINION, not based on the stats of any giver website, but from my own personal observation and experience - whcih I so stated at the time. No one seems to disagree that the overwhelming amount of crime in this country is dome by blacks, and the prison population reflects that. It seems, at leastr to my mind then, that the threat of violent crime appears to be geater against whites coming from blacks, than coming from whites. Again, I am not claiming that this is cut in stone, but I have still not seen anything to convince me that I am off base here.
-
I just went back to page 91 and there are NO links there!
-
The problem I have is that I believe Christians are obligated to take a stand against sin at every opportunity, and I feel that your attitude of "I'm against it, but two adults can do as they want" is a big compromise. You have also expressed similar views about sharing the faith. I think the problem that some have with my "attitude" is because I try not to compromise by beliefs and principals, which is very hard to do when you are debating some who are athiests, ultra left wing liberals and hate Christianity and God. Everyone has gone to great lengths to call me a raciest because I voiced an opinion of black/white crime statistics. I have asked repeatedly for someone to produce something that says I am mistaken, but no one has. If that was to happen, I would gladly own up to being wrong
-
I stated an opinion based upon my observations and experience. I never stated it was hard fact. You are others are telling me I am wrong. If I'm wrong, show me, otherwise it's just your opinion, and no more viable than mine.
-
Oh, you just love to stir up trouble, don't you! You "correct me" but I havn't seen anything to show that my observation is wrong, have I? Then you write that I am "screeching about people attacking him and his "Christianity"! Would you care to show me where I said that?? You want to talk about being raciest and biased? I think you athiest liberals are a bit biased against Christian, are you not?
-
I don't consider my opinion racist at all. It is based upon my experience and observation. If you have some hard fact that says otherwise, I would be happy to admit that I was mistaken. So far I havn't seen that happen! I was not saying "Sooner" was not a Christian, I was implying that his views differ from most Conservative Evangelical Christians, which I think are somewhat inconsistant with the faith he embraces.
-
If you think my opinion is racist, then think what you want! An opinion is an opinion, it is not a statement if infallible fact. And you can voice your opinion all you want, weather you agree with me ot not. When did I ever indicate otherwise. I think you just look for things to argue about and like to find fault any where you can. And that is my opinion, weather you agree or not!
