Does anyone know if there are coffee creamers with not so many calories. I drink the Coffeemate Coconut creme and I swear I have a Ton of calories each day. I just can't give up the flavor. I heard about some flavored liquids. Does anyone know of any substitues. My calories are about 240 just from creamer!

I can't I canIiI I can't eat lettuce either -
My first band wasn't connected to the tubing. Please have your doctor do a barium swallow to see if there may be some sort of a problem. Maybe you have a leak, who knows, but get it checked out.

My Dr. had to give me some of my medications in liquid form since I couldn't swallow the bigger ones.

I have Tricare West and I am interested in the changes too. I already have my lap band, but am curious about the changes. I didn't have to do the 6 month diet.

Silly Me! No, I should have said December, 2011. Some of my meds were to big to take, so my dr. put me on liquids. Thanks for noticing my error.

Hi. I'm on a lot of psych meds and it may be harder for us to lose weight since some psych meds may actually cause some of us to gain weight. Not impossible, tho. I was banded Dec 2012 and have only lost 60 lbs, but I am in my 50's and that doesn't work in my favor either. I'm happy with my success so far, though. Good luck to you! Terry

W/OUT THE LAPBAND WHO'S LOST 100 pounds
Puppypaws57 replied to SandyC2's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
To me, losing the weight isn't the best benefit of the lap band. It is knowing that the band will help me keep it off. At Last! -
Vitamins: Are They Really That Important?
Puppypaws57 replied to KristineNote's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Jachut - what vitamins helped with the moods? -
Yes, this exact thing happened to me. I have Tricare which is a wonderful insurance. I didn't have to pay a thing. Good luck to you. Terry

Have your Dr. check for a leak. I am on my second band because the first one became "unbuckled". Didn't lose weight until Dr. checked for a leak. I have to disagree with some of the posters. The band DOES make me feel full on very little food. Good luck!

Also - very high in sodium. I also ate a fair amount in the beginning, but had to cut back because I FELT I was eating too much. Terry

I'm Bipolar too! Glad to know there are others like me. I'm not ashamed at all because this is an illness just like diabetes or heart disease. But I know not everyone sees it this way. The illness does give us extra challenges that the others don't have. Feel free to e-mail me @ Puppypaws1957@aol.com. Here's to support each other and others with this illness!!!
