Hi. I'm just like you. Learned to cheat and now I can't stop. Candy is my down fall. I just ate tuna and threw it up. Don't get it, but the candy goes down just FINE!

Too bad you can't walk in the mall before work. Our Mall Walkers is from 7-9 am. I hate shopping too, but I can look while I walk and the mall in not crowded.

Me too! It sounds so easy - stop eating it - but I just can't. I'm gaining weight back and it scares the Heck out of me. It seems like the bad stuff is so much easier to eat. I never throw up the bad stuff. HELP!

Thank You for your honesty. Do you feel better? Did it speed up for weight loss? I feel I truly am addicted to sugar. I have to buy candy for my dad and it is awful for me to go in the store and see it at his house. He is disabled and I have to shop for him (he asks for the candy) and cook for him. Did you have obstacles like that? I always go over on my calories because I eat the candy.

I have been on Seroquel for many years for my Bipolar disorder and it has worked amazingly well. Last month my Dr. increased my dosage due to some problems I was having. I gained 8 lbs. Now he says he will take me off Seroquel and put me on Geodone if I can't lose the weight. I SOOOO DON't want that and am working hard to lose the excess weight so I can stay on Seroquel. Has this happened to anyone else? Has a medicine made you gain weight? I thought it was up to me to control the weight, but Dr. says "NO" some medicines make you gain weight. Do you agree or disagree with my Doctor? Did any medicine make you gain weight? Thanks, Terry

Good point especially about the meds. The Dr. switched two of mine - Paxil & Trileptal - to liquids. Works just as well!

I have bipolar and am stable with the correct meds. The only thing that my psychiatrist brought up was that if I went with the gastric bypass he would have to change the amount of medication I am on to doses that hadn't been approved of by the FDA - hope that makes sense. Because of that I chose the lap band instead. Also, I didn't have to stop my meds at all! Other than that, there will be no problems and I'm sure you will fine.

Boy, that is me. I haven't lost much in my breast area. Therefore, my clothes just hang on me, but it looks like I haven't lost much weight. I'm sure it will even out in time.
