  1. Hi everybody: I'm now 5 weeks post operation ,I'm so excited about my new weight I've lost 13 kilos so far and I can eat everything now but in little portions .....I'm so happy for everyone who had vertical plication and is satisfied with the results. I realy feel so comfortable here in this forum coz I'm not the only one who had this surgery,I sometimes feel sorry when I find people attacking this surgery while knowing little about it. Thanks Dr Watkins for your support & for making us feel better about our surgery I'm Looking forward to hearing how it all went for everyone who had plication.

  3. Dear Dr Watkins Thank you very much for your priceless information ,I've to say that I realy feel great for not feeling hungry coz before my surgery I had never felt full, I was always hungry and willing to eat all day long. It's really great to feel full at small amount even if your appetite is not suppressed.I can easily recognize the difference between "the old me" and "the new me" when my friends eat infront of me .....before surgery I can't resist junk food but now I don't care what they are eating,a small amount can make me satisfied Good luck everybody but I'm a little bit worried about my calories intake .I'm 21 days post surgery ,but I'm don't know how many calories I should cosume,I would appreciate feedback.
  4. Go on and don't worry &it's the best decision I've ever made,Concerning the surgery itself, the first day is the toughest one coz of all the air in the stomach, you have to walk andd let someone massage your back when you feel uncomfortable untill you get rid of the air. I didn't feel hungry during the first week at all&even I used to drink half a cup,but now I feel hungry sometimes but the hunger vanishes when I drink something. They say this surgery has little risks coz there is no cutting or stapples, but the only thing I'm not sure about is the gherlin issue .There is no studies about that till now .Does this hormone reduces or not?but actually I'm not concerned about this coz I know that the surgery is just a tool to achieve a goal that I'm sure that I would never achieve without it.Some say the sleeve is better but I was scared of the idea of leaking that's why I've choosen this surgery.Hope you make the right decision:001_smile: Best of luck
