I was very nervous, too. I almost backed out due to nerves the week before surgery. I am so happy now that I went thrugh with it. Recovery was slow and steady. I was up and shopping within four days. I used a wheelchair so that helped. Had lots of nausea. That was the worst side effect. They gave me meds which helped. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I'm happy to help as much as I can.
