i have the alpine punch isopure in the small bottles with the 15g of protein and i gag my way through the hourly sips. im only 6 days out post op and im wondering if there is anything else out there clear with protein that isnt going to make me puke either. so far i jut sip wter after every isopure sip. i feel your pain

how are ya feeling??? 6 days out already! im feeling better just waiting for this stupid drain to be gone. hoping ur well!

is really having a hard time getting in all the protein daily. no shakes or drinks taste good. yuck

gas pains are horrid!!!! im trying to walk as much as possible and i took a few gas-x strips which helped, i am doing okay on protein drinks and fluids its hard to remember to take something every hour tho! how are u doing with walking around and being mobile?

home from surgery! talk about pain! i had about 5 min of "what the hell was i thinking" looking down at my giant belly and remembering why this is so important!!

i am home now! i only had to stay one night and am feeling much better at home. how are u holding up how do u feel

I am a hore nut! I currently only have 1, but he is a belgian draft horse, he is a rescue from a kill pen and used to be a plow horse but now lives the life of luxury!!! i used to own 2 paint horses and a tenessee walker pinto

welcome! i am a july 6th surgery date also!!!

my sleep machine is on a "rent to own" monthly payment ($25.00) and i can return it after surgery if i find that i no longer need it. i had to have 2 sleep studies as well thru aetna insurance but my surgeon required it for the surgery as well.

i also have a weight watchers scale that never told me the same weight when i stepped on it even if i didnt move it. i ended up taking it back and now only go by the doctors scale

congrats on your approval!!!! i have aetna too and was approved in about 4 days with a letter after about 10 days but it sounds like you are ready to go!! waaahoooo! keep us updated on a surgery date!

my psych eval was quick and simple they basically want to know that you understand the surgery process and that you have support for the mental journey at home mine lasted not even 30 min -

i have aetna and they approved me the first time around but i had given my psych eval to my surgeon and they faxed it into aetna, i would call and refax your psych eval approval and then they should have no reason to deny u. but aetna will deny u if ur bmi is 35-45 if u dont have a co-morbidity also such as diabetes sleep apnea etc, so i would mmake sure you have that info ready as well.

sounds like jealousy that you are going to be getting a definate way to solve your weight issue while she still struggles. dont let anyone make you feel bad about bettering youself and your health!!!
