  1. Here's the scoop on my first fill...not bad at all! She felt around for my port (didn't hurt), sprayed numbing spray, put the needle in (don't peek at it). I didn't feel pain necessarily, just pressure. She had to move it around 2 or 3 times before she actually got into the port but that wasn't bad. She then fill up my band with 8CC of fluid and had me take a drink of contrast - that sensation wasn't too pleasant, my stomach area felt veeeery tight and then when I swallowed I could feel the liquid just sitting there. She then slowly pulled out a few cc's at a time until she found a spot where she thought the liquids flowed pretty good into my lower stomach, which ended up being 4cc. It was cool to watch the liquids drain into my stomach on the machine! But yea now my site is a tad sore but otherwise feeling good. This AM I ate 1/2 cup of greek yogurt with 1 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter, and 5 hours later I realized I was still full. It was awesome!!
