Constipation.....not!
Grider replied to BeeBlueHeron's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I kep some peptobismol around too- I think some times now in the heat we may eat some unwanted bacteria,, keep and eye on it. -
More meat... how is your cholesterol? I had to get rid of the eggs, was eating 2 a day, now do egg beaters-1 protein bar losts of salad and all types of meats and one meal with carbs- whole wheat pasta or bread, beans or something, I do not know what else to eat anymore. My ins will pay for a dietician and maybe time to visit one again.

Yes I did not op for fill last mo and one of the reasons was my sinus,,, The reg dr said all the mucous is flem from post nasal drip,, and its filling up my pouch, and then the gurgling goes on when I try to eat and have more harder time getting my usual foods down..that's why some folks drink hot tea or something 1st--- ,,, glad I talked to my GP,,, NOW I know what to look for when my head is full or ears popping etc from sinus allergies etc. We have so many oaks trees here ughhh. but you are right- you end up with slider foods and lose NADA...

I was doing my water classes and then moved up to zumba- recently started the step aerobic weight training which I love- but started feeling acky around the knees which now have become crunchy ( im 59) and little sore, NOT sure what to do- some say its the shoe,s others say it the weights, anyone?? If I stop doing my gym work-outs aghhghg--

I guess Dr's won't change their codes, but I do notice some Dr's fill you up faster than others, see other post 2nd fill 5.5 ccs!!! I am at 5cc. $400 later. ( 4 visits) In any case I am happy I did this, just no raises and everything going up things getting tighter than my band,
-
yep milks of magnesia, once you get rid of all that you feel soooo much better and keep it handy with all the protein in the future,
-
yes bought new dance sneakers for the zumba and i do NOT hop or jump with those routines. Dr said to strenghthen my muscles above n knees front n back so now I try to do the machines that do that each time I go- and pool class in between the others not to over do it.

Surgery Fri......possible Sinus Infection
Grider replied to Michele1975's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
And saline or a netty pot--- get rid of it-- you will have issues later because of anesthesia. I had one 2 weeks prior and did simple colonoscopy n paid dearly for it after, they said if I had mentioned it, they would have mixed the stuff bit different, i thought it's gone so no problem- but I woke up throwing up flem like crazy,,, so have it checked out. -
Think you have to go to profile,, alot of us moved over to myfitnesspal... I am Griderrr.. and go on here when i get issues or questions

Does Everyone Still Take All Thier Vitamins?
Grider replied to hopingtobebandedsoon's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I bought a pill crusher,,, and do Biotin for my hair, Centrum, and vita B complex and Calcium.. and sometimes vita D as it got very low. Found out certain foods help in the digestion of certain nutrients,,, as in fat, so if you now eat diff, you may not be absorbing as much normal nutrients in foods, and of course you eat much less of them and some not at all. VITAS are needed.. -
I found out through my GP that when I have sinus issues, I have alot of post nasal drip in the back of my throat that fills up my pouch and this foam which is what we see when we do the BP,,, is all that flem which is VERY hard to break down... Some days its really hard to eat, and if I watch a crybaby movie - IMPOSSIBLE! It makes sence to me, now I can see why drinking so much water is helpful... anyone else heard of this??

I cut my hair real short, good for pool and hot excerzises, and gym showers, I figured the less I pulled the better,( curly hair) I am taking Biotin per hair dresser and vitas. but for awhile there- I though OMG im going to be bald! I wonder why this is that way? we get healthier, eat much healthier?? weird- My nails bit peely too.

my Dr is real nice but whne i didnt get a fill last time due to $$$ n only had lost 3 lbs he seems dissapointed, so I felt bad for like a week-- I decided this is MY walk and will do as I can and if I fall, I will get up again and restart -as I am commited ! but dont judge me... I was really upset as i had been hitting the gym and watching diet etc,,, and mi wallet!! anyhow I would like to have lost more too, it is what it is,,, Just never stop-- aways go forward, and you will not fail to reach your goals,,,

Many folks paid for this in advance, in the admin fees, I talked to the insurance co, The surgeon considers this " surgical" and I am responsible for the co-pay. I just think it should NOT be considered a surgical procedure, just to stick a drop of saline in a port. I had a special needs grand who had a port ( mickey button) for his food and we did our own saline thing all the time, to make sure it stayed in place. Anyhow, life being what it is, it's unaffordable now, and hope he will give me a good fill- like a whole CC, now that I am used to the band. I do notice some Drs fill you up quickly, and other .05 cc etc at a time. well enough of my bla bla,,, looking for p time job.
-
I have FEP BLUE $117 each fill plus $35 Dr visit, the reg price he charges is $500 as it is surgical procedure,,, ( ) now I can only get fills if I have money- was going crazy trying to pay all my co-pays off including Hospt. so,,, hopefully he will fill me in Sept and it last a while,,, I wonder if I told him I cannot afford them what would happen. ?? anyone have same prob? I had a fight with the ins co. over it, but it is what it is, just going to take me longer.

Hope its just trapped GAS

Since weight loss my Dr lowered my prescription... so now down to 1mg or whatever. I think its slows down weight loss in general, but 41 lbs in 8 mo may not be the fastest, but I am good n gall bladder is behavin!
-
