    Does Mild Sleep Apnea Count??

i have heard of folks gaining weight to get it done! so how much would you have to gain to make 40 bmi? sometimes they lose the weight and have to go back and regain to resubmit- this actually happens. sad but true

    I am a lying liar

stop being ashamed of having gained the weight, or how you lost it, Life is not easy, and Thank God you are healhier and feel good about yourself. It is easier to share with unknowns and maybe you will help some one out! My dental assistant convinced me, of having surgery. I finally met a real person I knew who had it done and was well and happy and not paid to tell me different. No sooner she told me I was on my way to attending seminars etc, and now hopefully Oct I will be done!. I think only some folks will judge ya, but you can always ask--- first in your conversation. Have you ever thought about WLS? and if they are receptive, then you can say, ME too! take it from there--
  4. Congratulations!! whoo wooh.. Take very good care of yourself, tell the kids mommy needs quiet time and welcome to a new life!! I hope it will be OCT for me- next week,, I will know more,

    Endoscopy Results

I got copies of all my stuff -not radiology report, and I tried to google it all. My surgeon will get the final results 3/5 days after radiology. If all looks pink they might just tell u your OK. I have issues. but today I am more "with-it" and the candida is being fixed by a pill- one a day for 2 weeks. , I think this came from a very bad sinus infection and i got some heavy antibiotics, and i think the rest of what he wrote is some damage by GERD,,, JUST another reason to have surgery. The radiologist will test for cancer etc, but the last endoscopy nothing like that came up. I think all will be well, but glad they found this yeast infection cause it can become a major issue in time. so thank you God for the bump on the road!! Are you just having a routine endoscopy?

    4 days post op

maybe you are not ready for so much food, you can just take it easy for a couple of days on liquid - and im not sure pinneaple jiuce is good so early but it breaks down food, and that may help a little bit of it. hope its better
  7. I am going for 2nd endoscopy wed, but i did have some stomach issues , and I did all my yearly tests colonoscopy etc etc before they cut on me I wanted to make sure I am good on the inside, at 58, its best to check, I do hope I do not agin weight w the shakes, but mr Dr also insists i get from him. I think that way, they know you taking the right stuff to soften that liver, I am praying for an October band, I am ready! soo ready.. see my surgeon oct 4 for final weight in and insurance submission... Lord take it to that insurance lady who approves in 2 days---- yes yes. congrats on those banded, how are you doing "Mischief"?

    general

My surgeon's office just called and because I previously had the H-pylori they want my GI Dr. to give me a medical release for surgery. I haven't see him since 2010, and I hope he will just say I am fine, and sign the darn thing,, I am praying he will not require another endoscopy- no time no money, and I used a different Dr. since for my colonsocopy. ahg.. It was all going so well. Anyone else had to go back n do this with OUT having to have the procedure done again ?? I figured my reports would be all I needed!

    Need to vent

Stay busy so you dont think about it.- Paint a room, clean out your closet, go see about a new park you never been to and walk there, write letters to servicemen who have been in combat. I have not had surgery yet, but have been in very hard places in my life and only way to control my own head was to fill it with something else besides my present circumstances. You will make iT

Wow so sorry to hear bout your hubby, maybe something will change, I hope you get all your stuff done with plenty of time. I wish you the best as well. gotta just keep pluggin- I have time for some vacation but this whole process is anyhwere from 2 weeks to two months depending on how long everything takes w ins. push come to shove I will just ASK, after I'm hired. I have not heard anything, but that's good,, the longer they take the better. I really hope all will be well with you and family.

    BCBS Fed

I did call fepblue, and they could only tell me about my own benefits, and cis is citizen &immigration. So far their HR has not responded to a general question. I did a phone interview and really do not want to approch them further locally. I just wanted to know my options. The longer they take the better, I hate not KNOWING when surgery will be. Oct -NOv, sounds so in the air as to when you can say you can start.

    FED BCBS

I may have a good chance for a job change with a different agency and it be well worth my time to take it, so far they have gotten a reference from my supervisor so it looks good. I have e-mailed HR (VT) and trying very hard to find out if CIS carries the Fepblue with the 3 mo WLS lapband plan - no answer ---If you know anyone who works for them, If they have the BCBS fed plan and if the coverage is the same with the same WLS prerequisites, please let me know... I know it is alot to ask, but the job is falling right in the middle of when the surgery could take place. - I am stressed because I do not have a surgery date until after OCT 6 when paper works is submitted, and I really would like to know what to say, with out giving all my surgery details, should they send me a job offer. I know I am rambling, It's like too many blessing at once!
  19. I do not see how they keep changing the plan at drop of a hat- it is a contract- you pay a premium for certain coverage, and the rules should NOT change, Idd call ins comish of that state, and complain

  21. I have Fepblu and 2010 to 2011 rules have changed, so it best to call your ins co's and see where you are, with your surgeon.
