Wow tiff Huge congratulations! Your post just made me cry! I want to be a mummy so badly and it is so good to know that with my amazing sleeve I too will be able to achieve my dream one day! Thank you so much for sharing with us - always! Love and blessing to you! X -
Hey sweetie I felt exactly the same way and now 6 weeks out I would do it all again in a heart beat! I'm down 35lb and I feel so much better. Today in London we have had temp of 35 degrees and normally I would have melted in the heat but today I was fine! Stay strong and remember why you are doing this. You have an amazing an exciting future ahead of you and in a few weeks you will be so glad that you have chosen to take control of your life for you! Sending blessings and well wishes your way! Let us know how you are after x x x

8 days out, hungry and bored
fairyfaye replied to Dannymac's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was aloud any liquid for the first two weeks as long as there were no bits so I simply strained any soup that did have bits. This made it far more interesting! I also got sick of the sweet stuff. We have cheese here called baby bell and it dissolves in your mouth so this became my favourite snack. Lol Good luck and keep at it I'm now 6 weeks out and I can eat anything just in tiny amounts and the time had flown by, it will for you too! X x x -
overwhelmed first 48 hours
fairyfaye replied to ebauer333's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You really will feel so much better as each day passes and as they say walk, sip, rest, repeat! I am 6 weeks out now and those first few days are just a distant memory. I feel amazing and apart from the very small amounts of food I eat I feel totally normal - only much lighter! Go easy on yourself but try try try to get some Water in and also try sf jelly as it was a god send for me. I know it sounds crazy when you find it hard to drink water but for me it was so much kinder to my new tiny tummy and I was able to get about a pint in each day that way! Sending you healing wishes and welcome to the loosers bench! X x -

Scheduled losing? And awful compliments
fairyfaye replied to Nicole W's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I hate it when People say stuff like that, I mean how dear they! Bigger people don't say ' your so pretty shame you look like you need a bloody good dinner' ! People are beautiful just they way they are, being over weight does not make you ugly! Ahhhh rant over. Lol I think you are doing brilliantly with the weight loss, 10lb a month is fab! Keep working your sleeve! X x -
5 Days Post Op Issues
fairyfaye replied to Day Dreamer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sorry to hear you are having such a bad time! I needed extra stiches so I felt the same everything in there felt so tight, my Dr explained that when you lay down the stomach swells so you have to be up and walking. I walked every hour for the first week and I can tell you it really helped. Also thin liquids hurt but things like sf jelly did not so give that a try too. Wishing you a speedy recovery you will love your sleeve soon I promis. I'm now day 28 and have lost 26 lb! So keep that faith and look after you! X x -

I have not had my period for more than 5 weeks now but have had some suggestions of it starting im just hoping it comes soon as i am feeling so uncomfortable! PCOS really sucks! anyway thank you again I hope you are all doing well! x x x x x x x x

fairyfaye replied to sleeved51711's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Scrambled egg and baked beans with low fat cheese grated on the top is my most favourite meal. I'm 17 days post op and I am finding it really easy to eat plus it has lots of good protine! Yummy. -

Hi skinntgirlwannabe Try to stay calm! It will be ok and in about three days time you will know that this is the best thing you have ever done! I am 12 out now and I feel soooooooo much better already. I'm not gonna lie there were some tough times but my tough times only ever lasted for about and hour and then I was fine! I would recommend that you take a hot Water bottle with you if you can as I had bad gas pains and it really helped. And remember sip sip sip walk walk walk! Don't worry about protene or anything else but water and walking for the first week or so! Good luck, love and blessings to you and we will see you on the losers bench x x x

So today is day 11 post op for me and until lunch te things were going fine! I get so nurvous about eating around people that don't know that I ate way too fast and ended up being sick. It was so painful and now my new stomach feels so sore. Then I got to car park to find my head teacher had parked so close to me that I had to shimmy over from the passenger side and I pulled the incisions and now everytime I move they hurt like crazy! I'm sure the stupid head teacher does this on purpose as she is a tiny size uk 4 and looks down her nose at me all the time!!!! Ahhhhhhh I hurt and I wanna cry! Bad bad bad day !!!!
-
Hey coops Thank you so much for that I went back to work on day 5! My head really is such a cow I didnt want to miss too much time from school! I have now told people I'm doing a liquid diet and that seems to have shut them up. I am very lucky to have some very good friends who I have told and after my distaster day yesterday they are acting like a protective blanket around me! They understand why I have chosen this option and are so supportive I am very luck to have them! And yes I will have the last laugh! Lol Hope you are well and keep enjoying that Greek yogurt!
