I am only 4 months out of my LB and I have been having gall bladder symptoms for about a month. I have a semi-severe pain in my right side especially after I eat a "large" meal (which is hardly large). Deep breaths hurt and last night for several hours, I had pain in the middle of my back. I have an ultrasound scheduled for this Friday. I'm annoyed and feeling negative because I've been doing good with my weight loss - not too fast, concentrating on eating a healthy diet, exercising 7 hours a week, etc. And now this. Sigh.

Down another 2 this week. Protein, not so good. Been going to the gym regularly, so that's good.

Down 2. Doing okay with my protein goal...hit 60g 5 times this week. Optimistic about next weigh in.

Bodybugg only lets you update your weight once a week, but it's under the body measurements tab. When it's been a week, it will ask you if you'd like to update your weight.

I love love my bodybugg SP. It connects to my phone, so I just enter what I eat into the program (on my phone) and it figures everything out. If having a lapband is a "tool" for weight loss, having a bodybugg is another "tool". Together, I'm on my way!

Amanda - I'd love to get to know you! My name is Serena and I'm 31, married with a 20 month old daughter. We've lived in FC since we came here for college. So far, I think I love my lap band. I've lost 11 pounds since my surgery. Social situations seem to be the hardest for me (eating out, etc) and I think I have been pretty dehydrated since surgery...working on that. Who did your surgery? Dr. Quaid was my surgeon. I would really love to get together with you. I would suggest we meet for a drink or meal (the OLD Serena) but now I guess we could meet at a park and go for a walk or meet and share an appetizer someplace. Do you go to the support groups at PVH? There is one next Monday, I think I'll go. Hope to talk to you soon! Serena

I'm scheduled for June 8 too! We will have to follow up and see how each of us is doing! I'm a self pay, so this is such a big commitment, but I can't wait. I think about it so often, I really can't wait to start this new life.
