My Wife and I got Sleeved together on May 11th so far no problems, but we have a lot of support from our family they really help out and pick up the slack.

My wife and I are getting ready to go to the hospital for our sleeves today. God willing I will post afterwards to let you guys know how it went for us.

Ok I'm confused, my coordinator informed my wife and I that we are approved, on Wednesday the 4th, but I just received a letter from my Insurance company dated 5/2/11 stating that a request for the surgery has been placed and that they need all of the things we've been preparing for the past three months, it also has the surgery date 5/11/11 and then it says we have 45 days to comply. My office is closed on Friday so I have to wait until Monday to call, does anyone know what's going on, are we approved or not. *edit we also received a call from the Hospital to pre register and when I called, they said we are already registered.

Ok so I just got off the phone with my coordinator and she said that the insurance company automatically sends the letter once the process has began, and not to worry my wife and I are approved! So looks like we will be getting sleeved on Wednesday God- willing!!

Thank you, I really hope everything goes as planned, it would be heart breaking to have to reschedule since we are so close.

Hello all I'm new to the forum, just to introduce myself I'm 33 5'5" 293 and have been battling with my weight fot at least the past 12 years, so I finally said enough is enough about 3 months ago my wife and I started the process together and we are BOTH scheduled for surgery next Wednesday May11th, so I'm trying to do some last minute reading and things, I must admit I'm nervous, was there anyone else who started to get cold feet before and if you could share anything it would be welcomed. Dr. Forrester is doing my Sleeve on May11th god willing, the entire office has been wonderful and they really care about your success in the long term. I'm glad to hear your weight loss is going well!
