I underwent LapBand in 2011 and November 28,2017 I had revision surgery...converted to the sleeve and had my LapBand removed. I had great success with the LapBand I went from 208lbs. on my surgery day to 123lbs. I lost beyond my original goal!! 6 years later, after a divorce, and new husband, a miscarriage, and a new baby, I've been having a lot of complications with my band and so I chose to have the sleeve revision surgery. My starting weight was 178lbs. on surgery day. My goal is to be 125 again. And I have no doubt, I will be successful with the sleeve surgery as well!
