I was also banded on June 28th and am having problems getting food in. I feel great and am ready to exercise but I do know that I am not eating enough or drinking enough. I FINALLY found a protein shake that I can tolerate so that helps but I am just as confused as you are. Good Luck and stay in touch! -

I am so glad that this question was asked. I am 9 days post op and have been wondering the same things. It will be good to be able to eat "regular" food again. Thanks so much for the suggestions.....they are a HUGE help! Have a good day all! -
Hello, I also had my surgery on the 28th of June. I fear that I am not eating enough at all. I barely can chug down the protein shakes. They make me miserable!!! My doctor however has told me that I can have eggs, mashed potatoes. I do drink all throughout the day but I fear that I am not getting enough protein. I hope you figure things out because I am just about as puzzled as you are!

I was banded on June 28th and I feel really good 6 days post op. The gas is/was very painful and I have pain at my port site. Other than that, I am on my way to a smooth recovery and I hope you are as well! Good Luck! -

Congratulations on being banded. I was banded the same day you were. I am having lots of trouble getting in the protein shakes. No matter what I do, they taste horrible and take me forever to get down. I just keep myself hydrated and hope that this works because I am having a real struggle with the shakes. I have never actually felt hungry, I don't think, but I don't know....lol. Good Luck and keep us posted!

So how are you doing?? I feel better everyday but I hate the antibiotic and hate the pain of getting out of bed. Thankfully im not interested in food but I keep getting nightmares that im eating solid food. Lol
