Some of you may know and some of you may not, tomorrow I have surgery for the Lap Band ( device that makes your stomach smaller for weight loss)... I hoping this will be a positive change in my life and make me healthier and skinner for my family! Wish me Luck!

anybody have any problems with anthesia( however you spell it)? ive had surgery before, but im terrified ill be able to feel it...

swear if i didnt lose any weight this week then theres something wrong with me and i give up all hope, ya some may say im throwing my self a pitty party but i dont care...ive worked too long and hard and im allowed to complain!!!!!

8 days till surgery, almost 1 full week on optifast... I woke up hungry at 2am and just went back to bed, this morning i had a shake... still hungry

im offically giving up, my surgery is 11/18 and im on day 5 of optifast and its killing me... Ive had a non-stop headache, lightheadness, tired, drained...Im starving, but when i go to eat a bar or shake my stomach starts to hurt half way through it... I have no idea what do to... im giving up and if my liver isnt small enough for surgery i guess ill stay fat!

finally got approved and schduled for my band surgery, any last minute tips for before or after surgery??? what should i have already bought for after? any tips about Optifast? anything would be appricated, i feel like now that its almost here im not prepared!!! please and thank yous!

i havent been on here in a while, was taking so long to get my surgery date that i gave up...finally i got the date of 11/18 and it was approved by my insurance!

Met with my suregon yesterday, the office is going to sumbit the paperwork to my insurance company. I still feel like this isnt going to go smoothly, Ive been doing this since April and wont have my surgery till Oct.

Got my Cpap Machine today with an awesome hot pink nasal only mask,,,its so small and it doesnt bother my face much but im sure ill have to get used to it...

I get my cpap machine on Friday and then I wear it for 2 weeks and then they download my chip and see if it helped my sleep apnea..after that there "suppose" to let my suregon know Im cleared for surgery.. im sure its all suppose to run smoothly but im sure it wont

sleep study tonight and band class first thing tomorrow morning...then all my pre-op is done!!!
