You all should be receiving an email from me that invites you to 'collaborate' on a Google spreadsheet. I'd like you to plug in your flight information for me on this spreadsheet and update as necessary. Thank you!!

ok, Laura's officially feeling better!! yea!! --------------- peeps, ya'll are trying to cram a lot of activity into a short weekend, in my opinon....but then again I like my vacations to take a slow pace, so maybe it's just me. Saturday is toobin', lunch, great shopping, drinks, dinner, then boot-scootin'. OR...we could do boot-scootin' on Friday night, I suppose. Michelle - you want spa services...on Saturday? When? This is just a small town, but here are your choices: This spa service will come to you in Gruene: http://www.whitecranemassageandspa.com/bedbreakfastgruene.htm Map of spa services in New Braunfels As for Tattoos on Sunday... If we drive over, eat lunch, do walking tour of San Antonio, stop to rest, have dinner, then some who want to do the ghost tour....when do you propose to get 5-6 ladies tattoo'd?? I'm not having any luck convincing Weldon to open his shop on Sunday for us, so you would have to go somewhere 'blind'. I wouldn't do that for a million bucks...but, hey!...again, that's just me! Give me your thoughts.

(((Laura))) I don't know what to say other than i hope things go better today. Thank you for checking in, you know how worried we are. :sneaky: Tracy, ask them to check the fill under fluro if they don't volunteer. It gave me some peace of mind when i was in your position...sure enough, I had lots of room for a fill. The occasional PB's were because i was rushed or not chewing (you know the drill). Hey, do you know how much fills are after our year is up? Michelle - You sound like me, too. Although this contest is going to help me (I think). Not that I'm such a competitive person but it will just help me keep my head in the game, y'know? I think the best thing we can do is stay engaged here on LBT....don't drift away when you're feeling like a failure. Keep posting, posting, posting. We'll all get thru the ups and downs together....and there are no winners and losers....we're all just doing the best we can! I'm in a real quandry over whether or not to talk to my sister about the confrontation she had with my Mom last week. Mom said yesterday that sister was 2" away from her face screaming at her...and must have said 5-6 times what a bad mother she was!!! (WHAT????????) I've seen bad mothers and mine was WAY FAR from it. She was an awesome mother! Maybe not June Cleaver but she's a very sweet and gentle person, always laughing and gracious. I just don't get it at all. Why in the world would my sister say such things....and WHY NOW?? She could have easily given my mother a heart attack. And if I say anything to her about the whole ordeal (like she owes Mom an apology) guaranteed she'll go off on me, too. Then it will really be a big mess. My mom could go tomorrow, y'know? And I just hate that this is hanging over her. My sister owes her an apology, dammit!! As it is, she is just acting like nothing ever happened. Although my mom would never admit it, she has to be hurt to the core. Just makes me so very, very sad.

Kat - I'm so sorry about Manda's situation. Is she holding up alright? And they're both staying with Kinsey's dad? Are Manda and Ryan going to stop seeing each other as well or just stop living together? So sad. I guess they tried what they could with Lindzie, huh? Kid needs to be in some serious counseling. Haydee - Glad you're better. Did you get some work done today? I don't know what to think about Laura! Worries me that she hasn't checked in. I'll call her tomorrow morning if we haven't heard anything. I had 1200 calories today and 48g protein: B: oatmeal L: cottage cheese/blueberries/granola S: low-fat cheddar D: Fr Onion Soup and 1/4 of Jason's turkey wrap; vanilla froz yogurt

Get this: I have a dear friend whose son is a tattoo artist here in HOuston. I asked him if he knew any good artists in San Antonio or New Braunfels (Gruene) and he gave me two names!...both in San Antonio. One of them is close to the hotel, i think. If ya'll are serious about tattoos, I better give them a call and find out if they can do you guys on a Sunday! Let me know! [note to self: Weldon at Mr., Lucky’s on St. Mary’s (link: Mr. Lucky's Tattoo - Tattoos) in San Antonio. Dustin thinks he’s good. His second choice is Sean at Perfection Tattoo, also in San Antonio. Oh, is that how they do it? I thought it was the percentage of weight needed to lose to reach goal. I don't watch the show, so i don't know.

Oh, speaking of goal weights for the contest... To make it fair I'm adjusting mine to a more reasonable goal of 152, rather than 165. 165 is more like a "personal" goal. According to the tables, 152 is my "ideal" body weight. Better Ideal Weight Body Calculations Wish Laura would check in! i called and left a message about an hour ago.

Ok so how does this work? You just walk into any tattoo parlor with 8 women and say we each want a tattoo?? Wouldn't that take like hours?? LOL

Laura -- Never, never hesitate to call 911 if you need to. That's what they are there for and that's what your tax dollars pay for. It's YOUR service! It is always better to err on the side of caution! Yes, you definitely need to see a doctor today. You might have an intestinal blockage or something similar. And yes, you should have called one of us.... anytime day or night...you know that! My official weight today is 181.6 for the contest. I'll record them today and pass them all on to Laura...our official statistician! Tracyk -- Sorry about your commuting story...that's very upsetting. Haydee -- Ew! What's up with you girl?? Hope you're feeling better! I'd shave a pound or two off for your starting weight...but that's up to you...whatever you think is fair. We trust you!

You would be surprised, Laura!! When I was wearing my Body Bugg (need to dust that thing off!) ANY movement was about 3-4x better than just sitting. That's why you hear Body Buggers saying that the device keeps them motivated to just keep moving!

Shrink'n Violets TIP 'O THE DAY!!

Someone once told me that people who change can tolerate anxiety better than those who stay stuck. I take that to mean that they are able to stand being awkward. That awkward feeling is actually a good thing—it's a sign you're learning. . We at Professional Thinking Partners teach our clients that there are three zones of existence: comfort, stretch, and stress. Stretch is where change occurs. It's where you feel awkward, but not so stressed out that learning is impossible. Imagine you decide to learn to ski. The comfort zone would be sitting at home. The stretch zone might be the bunny slope. And the stress zone would be a black diamond run. These zones are moving targets. The more you practice on the bunny slope, it then becomes your comfort zone. Eventually the black diamond run becomes your stretch zone. So remember, if what you're doing doesn't feel at least somewhat weird to you, you haven't yet gone far enough out of your comfort zone for change to happen. --M.J.
