Tracy - Dang it! I forgot to go over to photobucket last night to look at the pics of Macy. I was tired after I got home from Mom's. I thank you for posting the special pics just for me. :crying: That one pic where she's outside.....she looks like she's waiting for Hector to come pick her up. Or was Hector driving the bus perhaps? I hear he gets around. I don't feel like working today.......... bleh. Michelle - while you're in this "place" are you finding you're wanting to eat?? (see, i'm still reading my book!) Don't be afraid to feel the feelings instead of stuffing them with homemade cookies. The feelings are giving you information. Pay attention. I need to come up with a plan for bringing my lunch to work. I hate all the restaurants around here. And I also hate eating at my desk! The day is so long. Well, back to it!

Oh, ok......I thought you meant you were getting nauseous and throwing up. If you're PBing all the time, you need to get on liquids for about 3 days to give your stoma a rest. It's gotten irritated and swolen. Try that. Also may want to try having a warm drink before meals to loosen up the band.

I second and third what all other posters said. Y'know what? I went thru something similar when I was your age. And I did it "your way" for quite some time. I eventually got my head out of my butt (tee hee) and did it like these other girls are advising. Deleted his emails, burned his cards, deleted his phone numbers, and STOPPED TAKING HIS CALLS. Turned out that was really the only way I was ever going to move on. It worked. The way you are doing it only draws out the pain over a period of months (or years!), where as just making a clean break shortens that period a great deal! Uh, no. My son starts college today and my daughter has her first day of high school. Her bus comes at 6:25!! ....although she did ask if she could have a "friend" drive her to school. Uh, what friend??? Her new friend, "Hector", she says. :):confused2::w00t::eek: You think you got troubles??? ROFL! NOT!!!

Many people have problems with eggs in any form, so that doesn't surprise me. I can't tell you what it is about eggs, but it's common! Fried or (dry) grilled chicken is also another common problem. You have to cut it up in teeny tiny pieces....like the size of a pencil eraser. No kidding.

Thanks for the order, Becky! You sweetheart! I don't know about the fluroscopy being bad for you....maybe if you had 10 a month or something!? I've been banded 15 months and have only had 2. They aren't really necessary...just helpful.

A fluroscopy is an x-ray type test. You swallow a bit of barium and they watch it as it goes down your esophagus and through your band. It will tell the doctor how restricted you are. My doctor has the machine in his office so he uses it whenever there is a question about whether one is too tight or not.

Denise - your babies are precious!!! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers --I've had kid troubles, too and I feel your pain. Your kids and grandkids are so very lucky to have a mom/granny like you. Good question, Haydee. I'll wait to see what everyone's schedule looks like first, for sure. I don't want to be waiting in the airport for 3 hours. I'll make a google spreadsheet like we did before and everyone can plug in their proposed flights. Most likely the airline schedules will change between now and then so it's risky to book now in that regard...but probably not that big of a deal. It's tempting because fares are looking cheap....can't imagine them going much lower than $300!

My thoughts are to go ahead and check into the house. By the time we got enough hotel rooms to house ~6+ people, it would end up costing about the same (but I haven't checked that for sure). Besides, we can spend some time stocking it with supplies and be done with that chore. Check-in is at 4:00 but we can request early check in, too...for a $25 charge.

Haydee - That'd be great!! But the only day I can do it is Thursday. How's that look for you? I'm just plain ol' bored today. Kids are gone, DH was golfing, already made a silver bracelet, no money to go shopping with. Hmmmph! Guess I could go read a book but then I'd just fall asleep! DH and I might go check out a furniture liquidation later on. (Haydee & TracyK -- did ya'll hear Fingers is liquidating??) Maybe I'll just go take a nap..... zzzzzzzz
