    Good Morning everyone! Yes, back at work today.....BUT I have Friday off...AND both of my bosses are out of town all week!! Woo hooo!! Kat - TracyinKS was my SS and I received some wonderful, very soft cotton PURPLE PJ's from Victoria Secret and some cute ballet/house slippers. Everything is so comfortable and fit perfectly! She did great! :wink_smile: My weight bounced up .6 pounds, so I've only lost 1.2# so far. But I"m not really doing a very low carb plan...not with all that black bean soup I was eating! My pouch definitely feels a wee bit tighter this morning as I eat my cottage cheese. Jenn - Glad you're staying home today!!! Get lots of rest because tomorrow will wear you out if you're planning to go back to work! Maybe just go in for 1/2 day?? BTW, it's so nice to have you posting regularly! TracyK - Oh, I would have loved to stay in bed today!! I think I took a nap every day this past weekend and I never do that!!! I'm sure gonna miss it today! I did absolutely nothing productive yesterday. Can't remember the last time I had a day like that! Better get to work..... Laterz!

Ok, I think I am now OVER all this soup!!! Tomorrow I'll have cottage cheese for breakfast and tuna salad for lunch. I have learned (for the 1000th time) that I feel sooooooooo much better, have more energy and less hunger when I eat on plan....meaning NO SUGAR!!!

    Ok, THIS made me laugh!!! ....and THIS made me drool!!! (PAMELA -- FREEZE THEM!!) Gina - (((Hugs))) I hope you realize that there is nothing to be ashamed of with us!!! Please just let us support you and be your friend! We miss you when you're gone! BTW - Whatever happened to that "other" Sue or Suzie or Suzanne we had? Remember her??? she posted ALL the time and then just vanished!! Pamela and I probably offended her one time too many and she didn't want to hang around heathens like us and have TOO much fun! I've heard that's bad, but I wouldn't know from experience. I'm hungry....need to eat up the rest of my pudding anyway. (Yep, so far I'm still on liquids. I have A LOT of soup around here!) So far I'm down 1.8#. Whoopdeedoo.

    Hi everyone - Just got back from a girlfriends birthday party and I was good! I had made the black bean/chorizo soup tonight which was very good and VERY filling. I had about a cup and it held me for 4.5 hours!! At the party I had 1/2 of a glass of champagne. :tt2: Yay me. I didn't realize we moved on to solid proteins tomorrow already! I thought it was 3 days of liquids? So, duh...I've got a BUNCH o' soup around here! I may go ahead and do one more day just to finish them off. Congrats to all of you for doing so well on the plan! Janie - I lol'd at the 'seambusting violets'!! You'll get back on track and your band will be ready and waiting to do it's thing! I'm going nitey-nite. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

    YAY!! Haydee's back!!! :thumbup: We missed you!!!!!! That is just creepy on SO MANY LEVELS!!!! LOL The tofu is chopped up so fine that I promise you that they will NOT even know it's in there....but doubling the ham will be yummy too! Yeah, you know they say to "stay ahead of the pain" to control it best....so take your pills as soon as you start to feel uncomfortable. When you're done with 'em, send 'em down to me!!:thumbup: Finally got my house all undecorated and put away. OH! And while we were doing that Hero snuck out of the garage and RAN AWAY!! Our neighbor kept an eye on the house while we each got in our cars to go look for him! We couldn't find him anywhere for about 20 minutes! Finally our neighbor called and said Hero had come back to the house. We figure he ran into a backyard of a house not far from us that had the gate open....it's next door to the house where he has 3 kitty friends. Talk about PANIC!! But all is well that ends well.

    I used light Velveeta and light sour cream -- it was still delish. Plus I added 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, plus a drained can of Rotel tomatoes which I pureed then added at the very end.

    JENN - Welcome home!!! So glad that is over and done with!! You'll feel like new in just a couple of days! I'm eating my ham & cheese soup for dinner -- decided it needed a little kick to it and added some minced ROTEL tomatoes (drained first) and OMG -- this is sooooooooo good!!!!! Bobster would like it this way! I've been a model 5-dayer today! :-) No sugar!!! NONE! Tracy - WAY TO GO GIRLIE!!! 6#!! That's wild!!

    Hey Judy - I made the ham and cheese soup, too! Just finished one cup....about to go get another! Yummmmm! I put a bunch of cayenne pepper in mine...did you doctor the recipe at all? First time I ever cooked with tofu...you can't even taste it! TracyinKs - I wasn't able to open the video either :biggrin: How're you feeling? Heather - We need a pic of your Baby Bump, too! ********* Ok, here's where I've gotten off track: 1) eating slider foods rather than solid 2) eating too much food in one sitting...no matter how long it takes to get it down. I think that's a throw back to when I was too tight and to get any nutrition at all took me about 45 mins. per sitting. I think I am craving that pre-band 'full feeling' and if I work hard enough, I can get it! Grrrrr. 3) I take baby sips with about 50% of my meals and probably don't wait a full 30 minutes before drinking after meals (30 mins is what my doctor ordered) 4) Allowing myself to have sweets...chocolate is my major downfall. I am a bona fide chocaholic. I vow to improve in each of these areas!! Did you hear that!? I VOW!! (ROAR!!!) Pamela - are you drinking sugary sodas or sugar-free?? Re: meals, if I have a drink in front of me, I *will* succumb and take baby sips. I try just to not have any kind of drink around me period. Well, I cleaned out our storage closet and can actually walk in there now!! Got 2 big bags of garbage out of it, and 3 boxes of garage sale junk. Progress!! Now I'm (finally) off to take a shower! XOXO!! PS - Pamela - you do pretty much suck -- except for that gym thing and that dissertation thing. LOL!! Just kidding, sweetie!!

    Just FYI, tooth sensitivity and pain can be sign of an allergy. That's how I discovered I was allergic to penicillin! If you are taking any kind of new medication, definitely notify your doctor if you have pain. It can also be associated with joint pain.

    TracyinKS - I feel your pain!!! Well, actually I'm glad I'm NOT feeling your pain! I hate hangovers! It takes me 2 days to recover in my old age. Sooooooo not worth it. What did ya'll do....whose party? I went back to bed and now getting up for the day a second time! Don't exactly know where to start....coffee (again)?, shower?, cook soup?, or with the 1st priority....my Violets? Ah yes, the answer is simple! VIOLETS! ***Oh, by the way....if anyone is interested I'm selling my bodybugg v2 for $120 obo. I never use the damn thing. TRACYK -- FIVE POUNDS!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

    Hey SueSue!!! So glad you joined us!! I just think it's so crazy how similar we are....even started at similar weights! I also gained 4# over the holidays! Please come back for your daily dose of Violets! You'll love it here! We're even planning a trip to Alabama in June...one of our Violets, Laura (aka FairyFacade), is having a baby in April so we planned a long weekend at a great lakehouse near her area so we can all get a chance to spoil him rotten! We also met in Texas last May....and we had an absolute BLAST. Stick around! You'll be glad you did!

    Well, i woke up at 3:00am! I think it might be because I took a nap yesterday, which I rarely do. So I made coffee and there's no going back to bed now! Kat - Why don't you just wait 'til monday to start your pouch test!? No big deal if you can't start same time as us. You're unfilled because of the steroids or what? I forget. When can you get a fill?

    You can also try increasing your fiber intake with lentils, legumes, and fresh veggies. That really seems to help me with hunger....as long as they're accompanied by good amounts of protein.

    Hiya Girliez, Pamela, exactly how many movies have you seen in the last 2 weeks??? LOL I haven't even heard of Grand Torino? I wonder if it's playing here? We went to go see Valkyrie yesterday...i thought it was pretty good from a historical standpoint and suspenseful....but don't think it will win any awards or anything. Cruise seemed kind of 'flat'...but his character was kind of 'flat' too. God, that man is handsome. Tracy - I just got back from the store and will be cooking tomorrow! Soups for my 5 day pouch test diet. I have tried to like black-eyed peas, I really have, but I can't stand 'em!!! Brady Bunch??? REALLY?????? :cursing: DH is playing golf tomorrow and the house is a wreck. I plan on throwing a LOT of things away while he is gone....tee hee. He's a pack rat DELUXE and I have to sneak crap out of the house! I'm packing up stuff for our community garage sale in April while I'm at it, too. Oh, yummy!! I made some high protein SF chocolate pudding to eat for snacks tomorrow and having a bit now....it's delish! :confused: 10g protein for 1/2 cup! You just make SF Jello pudding (large box) according to pkg directions then add 2 scoops (40g protein) of unflavored whey protein. Hope everyone had a great NY Day!!
