Soooo the surgeon who orginally did my lapband relocated about 3 months ago, and the surgeon who replaced him recently told me that my band placement is too high and not at the correct angle. He told me that is the reason I have been so many problems and not able to tolerate any fills over 3cc. Don't get me wrong, I love my band when it works; I've lost close to 90lbs in 9 months. Now I have to have revisional surgery to correct the problem but I'm thinking maybe I should just hav...

I just found out today that I have to have revision surgery to correct an incorrect band placement. Is the recovery time the same as for the first surgery? -

Hi all, I was banded on 12/06/11 and so far I've lost a total of 40 pounds. I am very proud of myself but as of late I've been a bit discourgaged and as a result made some really bad food choices. Is there anybody in or close to the Lawton area that would like to get together to work out and just experience this transformation together?

I really hope this morning is not going to be any indication of the rest of the day/week. Today is my first day of my liquid diet! Excited, nervous, and ready all the same. Only dark cloud is I lost one of my diamond studs while I was sleep and I can't find it!

Each day is a new day. I was so frustrated the other day about the prolonging of my surgery that I was just ready to quit and throw in the towel...but today my GRRREAT news finally arrived. I have my surgery on the 6th and I start my 2 week liquid diet on the 21st. My husband will be gone for Thanksgiving so I wasn't planning on cooking anyway so that just works out perfectly for me. Ok so I'm getting really fustrated. Was approved for surgery on May 3 ( wonderful bday present) andnow things are just at a standstill. Called the doctor today and they said it would be "soon". I asked how soon is "soon" and he said i don't know "soon". Now I'm having second thoughts, maybe it's a sign...ughh!
