  1. I agree with others here. I think it's way to early. I only recently, 4+ months out, had a sip of red wine for a toast. I don't know if it was psychological but it felt like it burned a little. I stay away from alcohol for now and will probably wait till 6 months or so. My surgeon recommended three to four months that's why I had that "sip."
  2. You look FANTASTIC! Beautiful! Congratulations on this great transformation!

    Eating Out - Embarrasing???

This thread is great!!! My husband and I went out to dinner last night and I could bearly touch my food. I had the experiences described here. The MANGER came over to see what I thougth about the meal!!!! I made a big deal about how great it was... (it was!)... and that the apetizer did me in... (lies!). It was such a nice place and such great service, I did not want them to think I was unhappy. He packed it himself for me to take home! I was going to post something here today wondering what others did/experienced and found this thread right upfront! LOL Still really happy with my sleeve!!!!!!!

    Alice in Onderland!

Congratulations Sugarmamma7!!!!! For me everything became more real when I got to onederland. It seems there are move NSVs, it's more noticeable... I don't know! Maybe it's psychological, believing that, yes, I'm doing this. No matter. Congratulations to you and enjoy the new you!!!!
  12. That's awesome Candace! I had a similar experience last weekend shopping for some tops. I kept grabbing the XL thinking this is small enough, I'll save it till I loose more. Usually I've been a 1X or 2X. But now I need a large! Sometimes medium! My husband was with me and kept shaking his head saying, that's toot big, you need the smaller one. I kept insisting and had to keep coming out of the fitting room to exchange for smaller sizes. But I would still repeat it! It's so bizzare how our brain lags behind! Or maybe it's disbelief... or left over pessmism thinking this won't happen and I need room to grow LOL.

5 organs you can live without

Very moving article! I am always amazed at the human body's ability to adapt, regenerate, and heal. I hope this little girl pulls through and has a great life! She must have gone through so much! It reminds me how fortunate I am to have a chance a healthy life and not to take it for granted!!!!

    So confused!!!

I agree with others here. Walking is the easiest and very pleasant. You can go faster when you feel strong and just take it easy if it's an off day. Also, for me, bringing music along makes it really fun. Anything with music! :-) Even just dancing at home if the weather does not allow you to be outside burns quite a bit of calories and is alot of fun, especially if you do it with kids! Glad you are enjoying your bike!!!!! Have fun!

    Awesome Fall Soup!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this!!! I've been looking for a pumpkin soup recipe with protein to try. I think the sauges will go nicely becuase the seasoning in this recipe is not the more traditional nutmeg/cinnamon, sweeter type flavors. It's worth a try anyway. I also like your substitutions. I'll be doing that too. Thanks again!
  22. Wow, that's impressive!!!!! You are kicking butt!!!! Congratulations! Love your pic too! You look so happy.
  23. You are beautiful pregnant mommy! I love your expression taking the picture! There's such tenderness. Congratulations Tiffykins!!!!

You look GREAT!!!! What a difference!!!
  25. WOW! I agree with above post! You look so much younger. Both pics are beautiful, and you are looking fantastic!!! I noticed my shoes are more comfortable and, of course, walking in heels is much easier! I took for granted that, as you say, weight affects every part of our bodies, and that means our tootsies too! :-) I got this great new pair of heels to celebrate reaching onederland. I'm going to post a pic soon! Congratulations on your wonderful loss. You look awesome!!!!!
