Hello all! My vsg was on June 13. I have lost 20 lbs since. Liked a few of the clear shakes at first but by the time i could get off of them they were soooo sweet, couldnt force them down. Taste have changed. Just now starting a couple mushies...eggs this morning and very full at less than 1/2 cup. Needing more energy...but overall feel good. I too find its all better every day! -

I too am a horse person. I own 5 game Quarter Horses and a little miniture. Because of my weight I have not been able to compete for about four years. Had vsg done on June 13 and am planning to compete next season. This year I will cheer my husband on and heal....and play with my mini!

Aetna covered me and has been awsome. My person who pre approved it had gastric bypass herself. She has done follow up calls to make sure all is well. Had to do the three month physician diet, physc. evaluation and thats about it. very pleased with them! -

Hello all, I too am scheduled for June 13th. I had to go thru 3 month program of which it was recommended you eat and "say goodby" to your favorite foods. Well I did that ...over and over again..and gained 9 lbs during that three months. My Dr. wants me to loose that before surgery. He only has a 2 day pre op diet but I have started doing south beach in order to get that off pre op. Think I have my mind right and am ready for june 13th. -
My surgery is set for June 13th, Just very very excited!
