I have been reading this forum for several months now and I'm still unable to make my mind up! My bmi is 43.9 and I have sleep apnea so I really need this surgery lol! I will more than likely be a self pay so the surgeons in Mexico are more in my price range. But I'm really nervous about going that route. I've read a lot of different stories from people who have had surgery there but I'm still not sure how safe it would be. I have 2 children, a 7 year old and an 8 year old and I'm not sure if it is worth the risk. Any information would be VERY helpful! Thank you!

Just wondering if anyone had any info on protein tablets. I am having trouble getting my protein in everyday. I can't do the shakes at all. I think its all in my head and I just can't make myself drink them so I'm trying to figure out how to get it all in. Thanks!!

I didn't link any products on my post. I've only just recently heard about protein tablets and was just asking if anyone has heard of them and for any ideas to get my protein in.

I had my vertical sleeve surgery 3 days ago and am on full liquids right now. My problem is I can't stand the protein drinks! I don't really like powdered milky drinks. Are there any other options besides those? Or maybe a premade one that actually tastes like chocolate milk or maybe something that is like a fruit drink? Thanks!

I had my wls 2 weeks ago on the 21st but I've only lost 6 lbs so far. Is that normal? Im really having a hard time getting my protein in and could use some ideas I guess. I don't like protein shakes at all so I bought some Isopure drinks but can't seem to fit it in between all the water! Any suggestions on getting the protein in would be awesome! Thanks!

I've read alot about Dr. Aceves and was just wondering if anyone had any information about him. I was looking at Mt. Zion and they gave a price and pick u up from the airport and had a place for family to stay and all. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me a price range and what it all includes. Thank you!
