Hello to all,

I am pre op I am do to have my op on July 25th 2011 at Noth Shore

I had my op on july 25th. I have lost 28 pounds and loving it. Can not lie there are some hard times when you do get pain from what you eat. All in all I am doing well.

. Here I am almost two years along and I have only lost 30 pounds. I have asked for fills but have been told NO! When asked how I was doing and what I have been eating I am told that I am doing everything wrong even if I do what they tell me to do. I feel as if the head nurse just likes to make people feel bad about them selfs. So wish I had done the bypass and not the band. Please don't get me wrong Dr. G is very good at what he does just feel let down by his uncaring staff. It is funny how I see adds on tv about the lap band and how a Dr. Tells people hat they will lose about 40 pounds well that is about right. Lol wish I got the bypass... Such is life. I hope those that get he lap band have better luck and have a DR. With a good support office.
