Im wondering if anyone elses' port always feels like its bruised?? I dont have any redness or anything but it always feels like a constant nagging heaviness there, like a bruise... today makes 6 weeks since surgery and Im down 30lbs!! :0)

have a MAJOR issue and Im wondering if im the only one? Im 3 weeks into having had my surgery and the doc says i can start eating soft foods. well, of course i want to eat other foods but im working my hardest with it. i thought i would only be able to eat a few bites but actually i have to stop myself cause i feel like i can keep going and i dong get sick?? im worried that something is wrong! :0(

I am a 42 yr old mother of two who has yo-yod with her weight all her life. Ive decided that I am sick of buying size 18 pants and holding my breathe to tie my shoes. I want to show my kids how to be healthy and how could I do that when I wasnt myself. My son struggles with weight too so I want to get him on the right track. This is a lifetime change for my whole family! Im ready for a new me! :0)

Well today makes it a week since my lapband surgry and I have to say I feel pretty good. I wish the incisions would heal already. I m a hyper person and not being as active a I would like is really fustrating to me. On my day of surgery my weight was 240lbs and today it is 231lbs. I feel great about that and I know its only the begining! :0)

Hi everyone! So this is new to me but really excited. I had surgery April 27. Its getting better every day. I havent been able to eat much, kinda concerned about not being able to get in 3 oz of protien shake.. guessing its normal? Although im feeling pretty good, im concernend about red swelling around my port incision. Is this normal? It itches but i hear its normal, advise??
