Hi Lauren... My lap-band surgery is also scheduled for May 3rd, but my doctor has not put me on any kind of pre-op diet - liquid or otherwise. I wz just told to fast for 8 Hours before arriving at the hospital at 8am that day... Do u know why exactly some doctors have u do the pre-op liquid diet thing?? I am reeeally nervous. I am on antidepressants which I have to take on a daily basis and cannot stop suddenly.. Will that be a problem with my post-op liquid diet?? By the way, i also have a BMI of 41
