2011 DJ Rule #12: You Aren’t More Important – As much as your ego won’t allow you to believe it, you aren’t that important. We have all played for empty rooms. It sucks. What does that tell you? The floor is always more important than you. It's a symbiotic relationship. Feed off the crowd and give back to them. Take the cues you get from the crowd and use it make a better experience fo all. Remember, they come first.
