I was just at Disneyland I took a RTD protein shake and shared a meal with my 6 year old, we had a carne Asada (flank ateak) plate with rice and beans I had some meat and a little beans and she had the rest, they also have chilibeans or soup but they do let you take snacks.... You could do hard boiled egg, protein bar ect.... You'll be just fine.... You can also check the online menu's in advance and plan tour meal that way Have a blast

Although I feel better, fit everywhere better I haven't been able to start going to the gym yet but manage to walk at least a mile a day. Thankfully I have had no problems at all.... I live my sleeve can't wait till I've an hit the gym )) Highest weight 315 Surgery day 298 2 months out 272

I went to the dr yesterday and I can start on Friday ))))). Ground beef, puréed cheese eggs cooked veggies, fresh fruit apples, mangoes, pears, watermelon melon as long as its peeled one tbs per meal... Seafood. Fish tuna and crabmeat... And I saw a lot of recipes on emilybites.com theworldaccordingtowggface ect ect, but ill make sure and share when I actually start

I know it's a little late but I went to an Italian restaurant with the family & had the stuffed shells with meat sauce, it was delicious and went down well. I just ate some ( maybe 5 teaspoons) the ricotta& spinach filling and the meat sauce chewed every thing well and made like 6 mini meals with the left overs... )My little one eats the past shell)

So I was having a bit of a difficult time putting these babies down, everything else goes down much easier & I decided to make my morning protein shake with 2 scoops of Protein powder 52 grams protein 8 oz lo-fat milk 10 grams maybe a bit of Greek yogurt= over 62 grams for 1shake which I sip all morning ......is this ok or should I be taking it through out the day? I'm gonna see my dr on Monday to take out my staples and ask him & the nut too by just wanted to hear form you guys.... I'm one week out today

What stage would you consider this meal??

Too bad out bodies don't do the same with fat, sugars and carbs

Ok so what if I drink 1/2 in the morning, about 7:30 sipping then drink the other half around 11 and drink water/diluted juice between?? Hopefully it'll work...fingers crosses If not ill just have to force myself to drink a 2nd, 3rd shake I want to do this as healthily as possible .... Can't wait to start puréed /mushies next week

I know what you mean, I was sleeved last Friday 11/23 and am doing really well I can tolerate my protein drinks although my diluted juice, crystal light, tea and jello go down way smother than anything else..... I've been craving food!!! Yesterday I licked my daughter's chili cheese frito and the Mac & cheese spoon just to get a little taste if something else LOL I see my surgeon next week and I should start puréed and myshies next week..... I feel you keep us posted I want to know how that scrambled egg went down

Just like my full liquid diet, clear liquid diet this stuff is not as bad as I expected I got the sparkling lemon flavor over ice not bad at all.... I just hope everything else goes this good for my surgery tomorrow (fingers crossed)..... So how long till this stuff starts to kick in???

Yup it just started kicking in, but it just doesn't seem real to me just yet.... Oh and my surgeon uses staples (((( & that is exactly what I was thinking about is the scaring hope Beetracy I'm so happy someone else is having surgery tomorrow too!!! I'm tentatively scheduled for 7:30am need to check in at 6:00 am... So what are you doing to get ready? I'm finishing laundry and some lasting minute cleaning then I'm gonna pack my bag for the hospital all I'missin is gasx that I've been hearing really helps

So my boyfriend of almost eight years and we have a almost 6 yearold daughter decides to break up with me 2 days before my my surgery, right about 2 hours after telling me that he would be taking me to the hospital and waiting there with me durring my procedure. this is just great!! At first u was so sad but shortly after i realized He's actually doing me a favor because the last thing I wanted to hear was that as soon as I lost the weight I dumped him for someone else or that I changed..... Well the truth I'm changing I'm finally gonna think about me and put me first it's just to bad he's to dumb t realize he just lost the bat thing he ever had!!

Thanks, I don't understand so many men have done this to women right before or after WLS.....one thing I'm sure of is this is the last draw!!! I've been there for him for so many things that any normal person would of ran screaming and have forgiven him for many things also, not that he's done to me personally but just stuff that has happened as a result of being with him and this is the one thing I won't forgive it's cruel and selfish... Thank god and my mom I am very INDEPENDENT!! It would of been nice to have his support and physical help for the next few days but I will manage

Only a few really good friends from back in the skinny days were like whoah!! What happend who did this to you??? They couldn't believe I let myself go and a few blame my ex, one friend actually told him that he fattened me up so no one else would look at me/ like me and I could never leave him... Yikes So another I can't wait is to reunite with old friends. And look just as good if not better than them )))

Love this thread makes me laughter and cry And I can't wait for all the same things and even my 5 1/2 year old daughter whispered to me yesterday while we were at the nail salon "Mommy after surgery you won't have to sit on my chair too, just yours" my butt's so big it spills over to the chair next to me LOL Then once at home she says out loud in front of my mom and aunt who are totally supportive of me "Mommy after surgery you won't rip your pants either" ... My thighs rub together and wear out the middle So it seems I'm not the only one totally excited abut the new me kids gotta love them, I just wonder what else she looks forward to

So excited gonna be sleeved tomorrow morning 7:30 the doc says, just wondering if anyone else out there is too? If so what are you doing today beside jello LOL I have to get my bag ready for the hospital and finish a few loads of laundry some last minute cleaning and i think that's it. I just can't stop feeling like I'm forgetting something .. Well say a little prayer for me and chime in on what you all did the day before Live Michi doctor put me off work for 3 weeks

I'm being sleeve tomorow so no dinner for me and no Black Friday shoppng either... And youll be able to eat Again next year just the portions will change so enjoy!!!!

Can't wait either!!! I must say up ladies made my morning.... Sexy lingerie and since I'm bottom heavy thigh highs and garter belts oh yeah!!! Too bad a just broke up with my boo some one else will have to enjoy hahhah

Haven really cheated.... Maybe actually today day 5/6 full liquid diet, I had a little bit of mashed potatoes and gravy from our thanksgiving lunch at work i did chew those few bites like crazy though ...then I headed out and saw my pcp for pre-op then across the street to get blood work done then across the street again to the hospital for pre-screening and more blood work ugh after the long day I was starved so a I grabbed a chicken veggie soup and didn't have a chance to strain it and a few veggies got through & they tasted so so good. 2 more days if full liquids and then a day and a half of clear liquids and surgery on Friday

Congrats that's one NSV I look forward to 1 being able to wear knee high boots that zip all the way up 2 being able to walk more than 5 minutes in high heels
