If the purpose of chewing food 30 times bfor swallowing is to make sure it is liquid-like consistency so it can go down smoothly how can that liquid not slide through the opening of the band like other slider foods? If you chew your 4 oz of food to ice cream or mashed potato consistency I don't understand how it can stay in your stoma, keep u full, and not slide through? Curious to kno the technicalities behind this?
