Normal feelings... I am at 20 months and 145 pounds loss. You will find with time what you can and cannot consume a lot of, but, let's face it, everything we ate before wasn't necessaily good for us. Yes, the bad helps with portion sizes but you still have to make good meal choices. I was at my doc's office and a man there was on his 12th month. He was 10 pounds heavier than when he started. Problem? He eats nothing but milk shakes and creamed potatoes because they are easier to consume - and he could eat a higher volume.
With time, you will be able to indulge in REAL food eating small portions frequently during the day. For me, it was every two hours I put something in my pie (lol) hole. 6 times a day and three of those - unless my schedule didn't allow - was 2-4 ounces of protein, 2 oz of starch and 2 oz of veggies. If I couldn't do that, I used a quality protein bar. In between, it could be a piece of fruit or even a cracker or two with cheese. Worked for me to the point that I didn't feel deprived. Good luck to you! It will get better...
