I had my sleeve a little over a month ago and am struggling with the exercise piece. I was doing well before surgery but I work 12 hours most days and am finding this soooo difficult to get in and to muster up the motivation? I am not a gym person at all! I was hoping to get some advice on what exercise everyone else who works full time etc seem to fit in?? Thanks in advance!!

Feeling discoraged july sleever

Hi there!! We had surgery the same day!!! July 23rd!! My HW was 309 my SW was 297 and my current weight is 273. So we are right around the same! My MD told me that most people on avg lose 20lbs the first month, they go by percentages and so far I've lost 22% of my excess weight, by 3 months they expect 30% and this is for bypass! So we are doing fine!!! Stay the course my friend!! I do weigh myself daily as well and know the struggle of it not moving! It will give it time! -
Has anyone found a good product that helps minimize the scars from the incisions?

Hi everyone, I am just about 5 weeks post op and was given actigall recently. I took it with food as instructed, however 30 minutes after I threw up, first time since being sleeved, made me so nervous! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with this medication??
-
She said don't worry about the calories at this point ( 1m 5 weeks out) but the goal is individual I believe between 850-1000+

My NUT plan is to eat 6 small meals a day, or every 2 hours. I do get hungry when it's 2.5 and I haven't eaten, I too get in the reccommended protein totals per day. I don't thin there is anything wrong with they way you seem to be eating

This happened to me and it was horrible. I have since been taking colace twice a day and have had no issue. Thank god!!

I have to take this as well!

I was sooooo scared of this too!! It turned out to be nothing!!!! I was actually thankful for it because with all thr fluids they give us during sugery, I would be going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Coming out was fine just felt weird, but I can def empathize as this was my number 1 concern next to the drain, and that was just more annoying than anything else! Good luck

anyone REGRET the sleeve?
EvEisMySleeve replied to elpasovet's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my sleeve done 3 weeks ago and I DONT regret a thing! I have lost 30lbs since and feel great! Is it all sunshine and roses? Of course not there are bad days...but nothing worthwhile is easy. I know that it seems, at least in my experience that younger people tend to do better with this surgery...I can't imagine having this when I was 50 or 60, it's a huge toll on your body. It's def something you have to think long and hard about! Best of luck!
