You really look great. What type of exercises did you do? Especially with your arms, they look really good. -
at Jen 1381, no not really. but drinking something cold really helped. I think it was more of an infection from the cold...nothing helped, when i say nothing, i mean nothing....i had to tough it out. the antibiotics are working slowly, it is not as bad, but still bad...I had an ear ache to boot. thanks for the advice and all the comments...

Has anyone experienced a sore throat after surgery. I am 4 days post op and my throat is extremely sore...I did have a cold going into surgery, but I did not have sore throat. Other than that, I feel fine. My incisions are healing nicely, minimal gas. Any thoughts?

Thanks everyone for our responses...My throat was so sore I thought it might have been strep..went to an urgent care center...it wasn't strep, they gave me some antibiotics and I will continue to spray and gurgle...thanks everyone for your feedback....

Hi Justine...thanks for friending me..I had to do the six month supervised, so be glad....I am at about 5 months. It is my hope to do the surgery late November..

Hi Jen, all is well. I am in month 3, I am hoping to be approved in Nov. My goal is to have the surgery the week of Thanksgiving. We will see. Still tryin to work on the routine...going to the gym thing...gotta get that going..

I am excited for you. I have the six month waiting period and I won't be ready until Nov./Dec...I will certainly follow you, so be sure to keep us posted on your progress. i have found this site to be very helpful and informative....good luck...what state are you in?

Hi twin...doing good....supervised weight loss going good. May have lost a pound or two...Had a nutritionist appt. this week. i really wasn't excited, but she actually had some good info to share. Next up psych eval next month. I have set a goal to be banded the week of Thanksgiving..My six months, will be the week before..Now that you have the fill, how do you "feel"?

I too am with Cigna...it is my understanding that whether you lose weight or not is irrevelant, because the weight and the BMI that they go by is what you weighed when you met with the surgeon. I have to wait the 6mos as well. I have scheduled my nutritionist appt and psy eval, it is my understanding that it will be covered, (for me) Be sure to double check with Cigna or have the doctor where you schedule to check to make sure it is applicable to you. It is a bummer about the six months, but I am trying to get my appointments and stuff started and maybe try to submit in 4 and see what happens. Good luck. -

You have a lot of support and people who are pulling for your success on this journey...so talk to us, don't worry about other folk...can't nobody do you like family...
