About Me
I joined the website as a supporting spouse. My husband is scheduled to have his surgery on 4/26/11. He has struggled with his weight his entire adult life. A former football player encouraged to eat as much as possible when he was playing unfortunately maintained the eating habits vs. the workout habits. He experienced some success with Weight Watchers and lost 77 lbs., but gained it all back because he was hungry. He embarked on this journey without any prompting from anyone. He is certain that as long as he does not feel hungry, he will not eat. The surgery makes sense for him and I hope he experiences success.
He currently suffers from sleep apnea and has a C-pap machine, takes blood pressure and cholesterol medicine, none of which he needed once he lost weight on WW. We both look forward to him becoming healthy, not skinny, so we can workout together.
I am committed to supporting his new lifestyle and plan to do my best to keep him on track without becoming militant.
