    Valentine's Day... What Will You Weigh???

    My Valentines day goal was to come in at 199. I met that and then decided to go for 5 more. I made that goal also and happy to report that this morning that I was at 190.8!!!!!

    Forget the ice cream LOL!!! What do ya'll know about a Protein cake of some sort? Low carb of course.....Have you tried the chicken jerky?

    Bless your heart Patti..... On the cramps and periods, I am going to have to say no on the cramps and yes on the period. I do know that my PMS had gotten worse and it is because I can't eat the things that I use to eat while PMSing..... On a happy note, I am down 1.8 lbs today!!! I was NOT expecting that!!!! Something is going right!!! Headed back to the gym for my lunch break. B- Protein smoothie made with activia yogurt L- same thing as all week, Cheesy chicken (tyson chicken breast with a bit of cheese on top) D- sauted shrimp. (though last time I ate shrimp, they did not have a good taste, if I can't eat the shrimp, then I will have a piece of pork chop.) Snacks- I have some string cheese Vites- Running this morning and I forgot to take them. Will have to take them when I get home. Exercise- Gym at lunch time....today is 15 min cardio and 30 of legs today!!!

    My NSV....I am wearing a sweater that I have not worn in about 3 years and I have had 3 people who have told me that I look smaller!!!!!! I still have a long way to go but it is a great feeling to hear someone say that you look smaller and that you are in inspiration for them to lose weight.

    Congrats to you. My suggestion is to WALK, WALK and WALK!!!!
  16. My suggestion to you is to shake things up. Try eating different foods and trying different exercises. Focus on getting all your Water and Protein in. 65 lbs in 4 months is AWESOME. Give your body a chance to play catch up with all the weight that you loss. Most importantly, keep your head high. I wish that I will be in your shoes at 4 months out!!

  18. found out that my sleeve does not like it!!! LOL!!! Other than that I am good. I have to go back to the dr on the 23rd for blood work they said and I am afraid that I am not going to have a good loss. It seems as though I am losing but not like I was before. I am going to have to talk to him about that.

  19. For the first time since the surgery, I was craving something sweet and I shared a lil debbie brownie with my daughter. I was mortified at myself afterwards. We have eaten out a few times and I have ate a fry or two but nothing that I would consider as bad as the brownie. LOL!!! I am refocused. Going to the gym today and it is going to be a good work out. Also took a bite of steak

    I like it and BRING it on!!!!! I made my other little mini Valentine's Day goal also this morning!!! So for this challenge I have lost 15 lbs!!!!!

    Sleeve-related fears

    I think that it is perfectly normal for you to have those thoughts at the same time. For the month of January, I was under a huge amount of stress. Pre-surgery how I would handle this, would be for me to eat. Being that I am sleeved, I couldn't do that and not being able to handle eating what I wanted was just as stressful as everything else that was going on in my life. If anything, it made it more stressful. I am still seeing my counselor because I am choosing to. I do not know how this tool that I now have is going to affect me in the long run. For so long we have been programed to expect a gain when we go on vacation, eat when we are stressed and then in the same breath, worry about not eating enough and being a size zero. I think that you perfectly normal. People may think that just because we have the sleeve that it is going to be smooth sailing but in reality, I think that we have it harder. We have to totally reprogram ourselves and totally change our lifestyles.
  22. Not happy with myself. Ate something yesterday that I KNEW that I should not have eaten and I did not drink all my water yesterday :(

  23. For the first 2 weeks, I averaged 1 lb a day and then it tapered to a stall and then I was back to .8-1 lbs. Some days it averages only a .4 loss or something like that. Since Dec 8th I have lost 30 lbs, so some days are better than others and some are not!!!
  24. How are you doing with your eating? I had a little something sweet and I felt so bad afterwards and still so today. I have got get the nose to the grind again with the work outs.....

    Good Morning!!! I was off on Thursday and then Friday we had some nasty icy weather so I did not do much of anything. Made it thru the weekend and the only day that my eating was not so good was yesterday. I have got to work on that. My Water intake was not so good either. Here is my plan for today: B: Peanut Butter Protein shake L: Canned chicken breast with a little cheese sauce. D: Not quite sure being that I have to bring my kids to gymnastics tonight and it is going to be a long evening. Vite- Got them down. Exercise- Probably not going to be anything being that I have a long day ahead of me. Have a great day!!!!
